In contrast, the Rams appear to be in relatively good health heading into the game. The team expects all players to be available, including cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon, who managed a knee issue earlier in the week but has been cleared. Left tackle Alaric Jackson was limited by an illness but has been given the green light to play. Right tackle Rob Havenstein was rested during the week but carries no game status designation, indicating he’s ready to go.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford, who missed some camp time due to a back issue, fully participated in practice and is off the injury report entirely.

I got the dreaded 404 error on that link homes.

Anyway, the Texans are missing their RB1, WR2 and LT1 as well as a few others from the preseason and offseason. Still, they are a good team.

From former Ram coach and current Texan's OC
Nick Caley: “Every year is different, obviously. Schemes change, players come and go and change. What I do know is that they’re a well-coached team. They play really hard. They have great character in the locker room. Two great years there learning a ton of football from Sean [McVay] and the other coaches. But, they love football, they work real hard, you can expect that. You can expect their best every time they hit the field and it’s a great challenge for us. Great opportunity for us to go compete on Sunday.”

We deserve to be spoiled after some of those horrific years we sat through.

And this is why I don't lose sleep when we basically give away an Ernest Jones or cut a Chris Paul. McVay has built something special and he is protecting it with one goal - win the Super Bowl.

Jettisoning a proven effective starter at an otherwise weak position hardly compares to cutting a fifth-round rookie, does it?

Dick Vermeil keeping London Fletcher on the Rams' roster back in 1999, that certainly contributed to our team's first Super Bowl victory, didn't it...?? :? ;) :?:

RAM SEASON!!

Why did Tennessee trade Jones after like 7 games? There is something there we don't know about. And btw, we were just fine without Jones last year taking the eventual SB champs to the 4th quarter on the road.
