As a vet, NAVY, I always keep track of the academies .. NAVY and Air Force with wins, but damn, Army, lost to Tarleton State .. yikers .. Coast Guard (yes I follow them as well) doesn't kick off their season til next week. If I'm correct, their QB will have graduated, so should have a new guy this season. Haven't checked their roster

Navy improves to 2-0, Army comes away with a win, AF with the week off. Navy with some long pass plays, which is different, Army QB with 124 rushing yards on *41* attempts, Yikes ..

Coast Guard kicks off their season with a 56-49 loss, new QB as I thought, same performance though, 332 yards 0 TD 2 picks .. UNE top rusher with 232 yards, but Coast guard top rusher had himself a day 30 for 327 and 4 TD, crusher 718 yards in total offense and walk away a loser

Navy not scheduled today, Army with the loss to North Texas but Coast Guard slaps 92 on Nichols College in a 92-60 barn burner .. 64 in the 1st half .. QB for Nichols with 580 yds passing accounts for 9 TD, 7 passing 2 rushing. Coast Guard QB with 384 and he accounts for 7 TD, 6 passing 1 rushing and the backup gets a TD pass as well. Harrison, their top RB goes 18-153 4TDm and CGA rushes 44-315. Nice game if you like your football offensive. CGA had 25:48 TOP

Air Force down to Boise St 49-37. Air Force with an ACTUAL air game, 13-18/242. That's new. Still had two 100+ rushers, including QB of course, which is ALL the service academies, minus CGA.

Water twins seem to be at the fore, at least for the moment. CGA usually only gets a few wins a season. Cool fact, their division include MIT, for those who didn't know eggheads played football!

Well, Thursday night and Army might as well have been running the obstacle course, cause they sure weren't doing a lot on football field, falling to 1-3 with a 28-6 loss to East Carolina Pirates, who took Army's booty and buried it in their win column. Doesn't appear to be Army's year early. Air Force with another crash and burn going down to Hawaii which seems to have a team this year. Meanwhile Navy with another win 21-13, two 100 yard rushers, and Coast Guard moves to 3-1 (good start for them) with a 49-21 win, another game with 300 plus yards both in the air and on the ground

GR thank you for your service and sacrifice. Why is a college named after a Brit Officer from Rev. War? Tarleton state. Also, always enjoy Army Navy game.

Water boys keep rolling, though squeakers today .. CGA downs SUNY Maritime 28-26 to improve to 4-1. Their best start in a good bit. Top receiver has just 2 catches, 1 for 60 and 1 for 55 yards .. meanwhile Navy downs Air Force 34-31, thanks to career high 339 PASSING yards for QB Horvath, along with 120 rushing yards, Eli Heindenrach meanwhile sets a Navy program record with 243 receiving yards and caught all three of Horvath's TD passes. Army mounted a winning campaign against UAB moving to 2-3 on the season

Army gets a win to even up their season record at 3-3 .. beating Charlotte ( who isn't doing that) .. Air Forces down in flames once again, falling to 1-5 with the 51-48 squeaker loss to UNLV .. and Navy improves to 6-0 with the razor thin 32-31 win over Temple. CGA is resting on their laurels this week, back in action next Saturday

Navy with the bye week, Army falls to Tulane 24-17 and Mighty Coast Guard improves to 5-1 3-0 in conference with the 24-14 win over fabled football power MIT. Air Force downs Wyoming 24-21

Short this week. Air Farce licking it's wounds, Army reassessing. Navy improves to 7-0 topping Florida Atlantic 42-32,
Horvath 21 for 174, Chatman 10-141, pretty real yardage, Horvath's longest was 31, Chatman's 36. No one long 80 yarder skewing either total. Navy has Notre Dame looming on the horizon however

Mighty Coast Guard improves to 6-1, very unusual for them, with a 59-28 thrashing of Norwich. Normally that score would go the other way. Harrison 25-211 yards. Harrison averaging 167 a game, scored 14 TD's and has only lost 15 yards all year. 156-1184 7.5 YPC so far on the season. Solid year to date

Well.. Navy falls from the ranks of the unbeaten .. North Texas State whacks them 31-17. Horvath with 2 picks and a lost fumble helping to seal their fate. Army shoot downs AF 20-17, but Mighty Coast Guard continues to march on with it's 7th consecutive win following a season opening loss, downing Salve Regina 36-31, HArrison Hensley collecting another 171 rushing yards at 5.8 per carry

Bad day for the water boys .. Navy falls to Notre Dame (as expected). No Horvath, but he's not making up 39 points ..
CGA gets spanked 30-10, falling to 7-2, still damn good for CGA. Meanwhile Army squeaks past Temple by a point, and Air Force strafes it's way to a 10 point win

Army with the week off to slog through the mud .. Air Force once again shot down 26-16, Navy upsets 24 USF 41-38, and CGA loses their second in a row 39-38 to Maritime Academy. Ah well. #1 RB for Maritime went for 248, Hensley of CGA with 181. Not many games you rush for 181 and aren't the top rusher
