Is there a good reason he is still unsigned? Wouldn't he make sense over Nick Hampton?

There are multiple conflicting reports about Jadeveon Clowney and the Raiders, with a recent YouTube video suggesting he's joined the Raiders for 2025 (which turned out to be false), but other reports state he received an offer from the Raiders but did not sign. More recent information confirms he was released by the Panthers in May 2025 and is still free agent, with plans to sign before Week 1 of the 2025 season, potentially with the Raiders or other teams.
