New Forum Policy - Please Read

We have some great posters here. I enjoy the interaction and debate. Unfortunately from time to time, sometimes the comments and debates get very heated and at times degrading into personal attacks and name calling.
This ban policy not only includes personal attacks, it also includes racist comments, homophobic comments (such as the term “faggots”), and any other language that is clearly offensive.

I have decided to implement a forum wide policy to combat this issue.
Moving forward, personal attacks will not be tolerated. This is the new ban policy.
1st violation - 24 hour ban
2nd violation - 7 day ban
3rd violation - permanent ban and all posts will be deleted

Administrators and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close ANY topic at any time should they see fit.

If you have any questions, suggestions or comments, please send me a Private Message or email the Administrator

Right On!!

I'm in full support of this approach, it takes some courage on your part to establish it here for the overall good, I'm figuring, however I'm all for it... :) :!: 8-)

RAM SEASON!!

Thanks.. I appreciate your support VM!!
My reason for this should be fairly obvious 😎
I don’t read every single post or reply on the forum. I do my best, but sometimes things slip by. If anyone feels a reply or post is in violation of this policy, please help me out and report the post or send me a PM.
Thanks again 👍

Thank you, as always very classy move. I’d actually peeled back a bit based on some posters behaviors. We are all entitled to to our own opinions but personal attacks based on differences showed levels of intelligence and maturity. To me the truest measure of character and intelligence is the ability to have a conversation with someone you disagree with, yet you respect his or her stance. Culture, education, exposure, and emotional intelligence all play a role.

Thank you....I have no issues with a good back and forth, but when it degrades to name calling the football debate is over.

I appreciate you including the racist and homophobic clause, as this has long been an issue for me.

Modding a forum is a thankless job. I've done it over 20 years.

You always have your problem children. And you don't want to ban people, but at some point, the complete lack of cooperation and/or sheer reasonableness just grinds you down.

Good job! Focus on the Rams. Leave the other stuff at home.

I don't see any rules about not being able to talk about Delmar's mom. I am IN. ;-)

On a serious note, I apologize if I let the conversation with "you know who" get out of hand. I know I am not considered the best RAM fan here, but I did not like someone questioning my loyalty to this team. I have not been a Rams fan for 30+ years, and I can't name every single Ram HOFer, but I do cheer for them every week and somehow avoid cardiac arrest during the games. I don't think it should matter WHY I cheer for this team, but that I actually cheer for them with my heart and soul. EVERY player, not just one. I guess I understand why I am still an "outsider", but I appreciate you allowing me to be part of the group. I will probably minimize my posts/comments going forward, but I will continue to come here for the news, updates, and listen to the healthy banter.

Glendora thanks for everything you do. I hate that someone had to be banned and I hope it was not my fault. I could have easily just ignored them going forward.

Dawg…
Great to see you back. You are a solid Rams fan and I appreciate your contributions to our forum. As for banning people, the fact is, I don’t ban people - they ban themselves. I hate it too. Not a fun part of running this forum.
My only complaint is that your mom needs to learn how to make a Reuben sandwich. Next time, make sure the sauerkraut is fresh and rye is toasted. We good?? 👍 😎😃

Honestly....I couldn't give a crap what led you to rooting for the Rams.....Some started because they loved the thick horns on the helmet. They no longer have them yet they still root. Some started out of loyalty to location...The team moved to StL and they stayed then they moved back to LA and brought new fans with them from the Lou. Sure some fans were lost but others were added and now the team is gaining traction out West.

I joined because I loved the colors...they have now changed a couple of times but I'm still here.

I say...let's leave the past behind and get back to Football and not the BS of "you're not a real fan"....how can anyone claim to be the judge of who is a real fan and who is a rental?

The worst that could come out of this is you pulling back due to a bully tactic from some words on a screen. You bring alot of really good insights to this forum that will be missed and some weird but funny humor....don't allow that to happen...stand up to the bullies and start tapping that keyboard

And another little tip. Swiss cheese on both sides. Prevents sandwhich from getting soggy!

One question, for future reference. Is it a violation to refer the current uniforms as "gay" ?

It needs to be said.

52 should be banned from this forum. And I have never once advocated anyone being banned until now.

A thankless job, moderation.

The biggest issue is not everyone has the same opinion on what is "over the line" or offensive.
