It’s time to tell the truth about the Rams and Jared Goff

Time for the media to stop empathizing with Jared Goff…

"The truth is Jared Goff regressed. And he has no one but to blame but himself. And never once did he take ownership of that regression. He might have made comments about playing better…blah, blah, blah. But there was never a heightened sense of urgency from him or more effort from a guy that just received an extension. You know what Aaron Donald did when he got an extension? He balled out at an even higher level."

Since when did Jared Goff become such a little bitch all of a sudden? Is it because of Dan Campbell? He sucked in 2019, and regressed in 2020. In the real world, if you don't perform, you don't have a job. Simple as that. You ain't special Jared. At this point, you're just another crybaby.

It’s getting old. The first way to move forward is to let go. Apparently he hasn’t.
I wouldn’t have posted this if there was other real Rams news.

He was playing like shit, got traded and it seems the cry baby still can't get over it. The reasons to why he was playing like shit can be debated, but he WAS.

^ Annnnnnd this should end this entire Goof Goff chatter. This is all it was in a nutshell.

Play like crap, lose a SB, deer in the headlights... you get traded. Enough said.

Here was his SB stats when we lost to the Pats.

19 for 38
229 yards
QBR - 57.9
TD- 0
INT - 1

That wont win anything, hence why we did even have a TD in that SB. Goff got figured out and Bill B knew it.

obviously the trade was warranted like everyone said. I think Jared's argument, which I don't agree with, is according to him it came out of LF. there was no discussion that it may happen prior. As I stated I watched Netflix and I came away with a new opinion of him. I think he has become tougher in Detroit and I was surprised of his alpha dog mentality.
But as many people have said time to move bro

Adversity builds character. Not sure if he is there yet.

Stafford shot out available out of nowhere, Rams HAD TO MOVE STEALTHILY, 49ers were lurking, Team couldn't take the chance of TELLING Goff and then have him leak it. That's big business. That's Football business. Your feelings are hurt? Take solace in the 120 Million we guaranteed you the year before.

Couple things here. It did come out of left field imo he just got a new deal a year prior. So that wasn't a lie. I assume he thought he was staying with the Rams.

As for his play regression just look at his play now. He had a great OL then they got hurt and it all went to shit the perils of a statue pocket passer. These type QBs need protection and he is getting it in Detroit why he is doing so well. Campbell is potentially holding Goff back from a SB not Goff he is good enough to win it. With Campbells wild antics going for it on there own 32 with a 4th and 2 just not smart. Going for it on 4th down 5x against the Chief and not getting one. Excluding the season that was an injury disaster he has played extremely well bc he has time.

Is he as good as Stafford I think most agree Stafford is better. Stafford is a better tactician than Goff and can throw from several different platforms giving the Rams a better chance. Goff never had as good of OL with the Rams that he has had with 3 all pro OLmen in Detroit.

Goff is good when he has a great running game. When he has that, he flourishes in the play action game. It's his best skillset. When he doesn't have a good running game, he's mediocre to downright bad - because the pressure gets to him and he isn't a plus in creating off-platform or off-rythm.

Just look at when he was good in L.A., when Gurley was killing the league, Goff looked amazing. Then the SB when Gurley was hurt and Goff played like poo. Now look at Detroit, similar story. Arguably the best duo of running backs the last couple year, but if they get behind and can't leverage their running game, the pressure builds and he goes in the crapper.

he was the highest rated QB last yr against the blitz so I do think he has matured and gotten better. It helps though when you have the best OL in the NFL, the best tandem RB's in the NFL, and the combo of WR/TE is probably in the top 5 in the NFL. Holmes has done an amazing job of putting talent around him to succeed.
Now let's see how he does this year without Ragnow, all pro Center who just retired. Huge loss IMO

I agree with all of that...and I'll add one thing....he should have played better and this wouldn't have happened

He should have kept his feelings in his house and talk with close friends, going public just makes him sound like a crybaby that wanted to nail the coaches girl

Campbell's idiotic decisions cost them a SB appearance 2 yrs ago IMO
