Agreed. Not to mention there should have been a clause in his contract about a pro rated guarantee if this medical condition returns, the team should have the right to void some or all of the guarantee.

I know this is not a popular take but blood clots as I understand are not one and done. They can return and in Jacksons case they did that is why we should have protection regarding our downside. Not sure why the medical didnt insist to Les to cover our downside. Not fair to the team this is not like a broken bone that will heal this is a potential reoccurring injury that has serious complications for our future.

Why the doctors didn't check him out prior to his contract signing is a mystery to me unless they did. Rams deserve some downside protection.

The last time this occurred he was off for a good stretch.

Just imagine if Humphries wasn't out in the market?

The key words are “as I understand”. You don’t IMO.

In all likelihood he was on Heperin or lovenox when he got his first clot then a blood thinner. And then he was taken off the blood thinner. His first clot was probably not a deep vein clot, probably a superficial clot, and he isn’t factor 5. And he was taken off because of the risk of bleeding when on a blood thinner. High risk one would bet for a football player. Blood clots have a low risk of returning if on the blood thinner. They have a high percentage of”being one and done” if on the meds. He will be now which the bleeding will be the long term concern.

Again not everything is a fault of someone(s)…………………..

Curious why you are disagreeing with me when you yourself stated "blood clots have a low risk of returning..." Obviously you would admit they can return so clearly it is not like I stated - "like a broken bone.." which is a one and done injury. Google it - it says blood clots can return! So don't say I don't know what I'm talking about because I do.

I repeat IMO, God forbid if I don’t include that, you don’t know what you are talking about.

I don’t need to google it. I’m living it along with someone very close to me that is no longer on this earth……

My wife made continued visits over 2 years to the Doctor complaining of leg pain only to told nothing wrong....took one dogged new ER Doctor and the head of department working on Sunday to get the test that discovered she had a 99 percent blockage and it almost cost her leg.

My take is this is not an easy thing to detect unless they squirt the Die and one of the tests is in an artery and that's scary when already on blood thinners
