Could he become a Ram? He's not happy with his contract in Cincy and he shouldn't demand a lot of compensation. Maybe we can get him for a 3rd and a 6th. He wants is a long term contract. I think this would be a good pickup if we were able to get a deal done. Him playing across from Verse would be sick.

Rams need to focus on the defensive backfield and OL.

Not sure where you are getting "he shouldn't demand a lot of compensation". He'd fetch a 1st rounder and maybe more. Also, he's 30 and looking for one more big payday.

I'd revisit a lot of these names being thrown around but only if we are making a strong run at the Super Bowl. I'd like to do a 2025 version of Von Miller and OBJ and hopefully get the same results.

exactly. I love it when people say that. he will cost a ton of money and will cost us at least 1 #1.....it will be multiple high picks IMO

As others have said you are not getting him for a 3rd and 6th. Cincy will in deed be seeking a high return. And he will be seeking a top tier contract. Pass.

Yup. Expectations are sky high but I'd rather be flying under the radar. I'd love a fast start for a change.

Same. Tired of the same old slow start routine.

Slow start? You mean garbage starts. IMO, if we didnt start off like we did last season, we would have had Phly come to LA instead of us going PN.

So I agree Felix and 49RH8R, we need to do much better when we kick off the season this year. No more of this 1-4 garbage, no more playing from behind the 8 ball...

Yeah, im getting sick of that shit. Can't call themselves a championship team if it takes you most of the season to get going. Just means you're an overrated pretender. Lets avoid that at all costs.

Have disagree with your analysis here to a degree my friend. They were not pretenders or overrated imo, They just were sluggish w a slow start, Took them five games to figure out the offensive line issues and also our defense.

Once we figured those two things out, we were total contenders.

I used the wrong words. I couldn't really think what to say and settled on those. But I do agree with what you said. This team has shown they can hang with any team in the league. I really cant wait to see what we do this year. I'll be looking at our defense a lot more closely this year to see what we do. Lets bring another title home.

This is a tough situation for Cincy. Obviously they don't want to pay him what he thinks he's worth but his production is outstanding 17.5 sacks 2 seasons in a row.

As it pertains for the Rams even if we could strike a deal without giving up either first I still wouldn't do it. He would be an amazing addition but we don't need him vs the amount he will cost to sign. He will suck up all our free $ we need to save when a player gets injured our at the trade deadline we can pry that great OLman, CB etc away to bolster our chances. Why spend now when we haven't experienced training camp or and games within the season. Inevitably players go down it's just the NFL we experienced an unexpected one on Alaric there will be others. Successful teams draft well, trade well and have $ saved to help weather the injury storm.

You do realize there's a reason why he hasn't settled with Cincy right? He wants to be paid with the top DL in the game. Rams trading for him would be salary cap suicide, and probably would not improve the team as much as you think.
