However, one critical concern overshadows their prospects: the health of their offensive line. Despite re-signing left tackle Alaric Jackson and bringing back Coleman Shelton, the unit’s injury history, limited depth, and the physical toll of the position make its health the Rams’ most pressing issue. Many of us were hoping the Rams addressed the offensive line in the 2025 NFL draft. Instead, the Rams traded out of the first round and selected Oregon tight end Terrance Ferguson with the 46th pick..

Yes this to me is the main concern entering the season.. even above CB talent.. if anyone goes down on the OL, our season could be over.

I really hope the Rams find some depth before the season starts.

Totally agree. We are two players away imo a #1 CBs and there are several potential doesn't need to be a star just a solid upgrade.

The other is a way better version of Noteboom as a swing Tackle. Wills feels like another Noteboom injuries and poor play even if he better suited on the Right side. The shopping list is so limited and targeted focused I think we should be able to find an upgrade from Noteboom.

The drafted filled in a bunch of holes as backups except at backup swing Tackle. The hard part imo is the lack of talent available vs the CBs. I hope someone shakes loose this is for insurance and we really need a solid Tackle then we all can breathe easier.

Like the article said we all witnessed what bad OL play does to a pocket passing QB. Puka and Devante' value to the offense gets negated when the OL is injured.

The rams have depth at center and guard but not at tackle. Unfortunately AJ and Hav have issues playing a entire season.

I’m of the belief that we will pick up a solid vet after other teams have their cuts. Some really good tackles out there that current teams cannot afford or are leveraged w cap issues… there is plenty of time.

They didn't address LT AND RT depth. If either Alaric or hav goes down for a long time, season is officially over. We are fine at G AND center but OT is a MAJOR concern. Not sure what is the plan here. They must know hav will get dinged up eventually. We lost every game hav was not playing last year if I am not mistaken.

What is weird is I thought the Rams had a preponderance of injuries in 2024. My point was that the o line let alone entire team needs to reduce injuries. However I was wrong.

That's super interesting,, Detroit is the extreme outlier here...they still won through injures.. the rest not so much.

there's always a savvy veteran tackle out there the Rams have to be aggressive and get one, we are not the kind of team that can play Russian roulette with the quarterback's health, if we can keep Stafford in one piece and healthy, the sky is the limit.

A few years ago in a relatively meaningless season, we signed Ty Nsekhe(sp). Very low profile signing, but I think the guy didn't give up a sack or maybe one sack in like 10 games. There are guys out there exactly like him. We can't screw around. We have to sign them. We paid him peanuts. If the Rams have a young guy who's capable of stepping in fine, but you don't know until you put them in.

Oline depth was my biggest concern going into the draft. We still have no OT dependable depth. This should be a high priority during the off season.

Protect Stafford at all costs. Embrace 12 personnel on a regular basis.

Totally agree. What I don't want is a reaction to an injury I want to be proactive and get a backup T prior to any injuries. Otherwise we will be stuck for a week or two trying to find one train them up. I would rather have someone going through training camp with the team getting acclimated to the coaches, players and system so they are ready in a minutes notice.

Lastly we have a pure pocket passer and for Stafford and the Rams to be successful he needs full protection. Honestly I have been conservative in my approach by keeping in the RB and a TE for longer developing routes.

I really wanted them to draft Conerly due to T concerns. It’s possible they may feel that KT Leveston is for real. Maybe Trey Wedig from Wisconsin and Indiana could turn into a real swing tackle. Maybe… https://www.turfshowtimes.com/2025/5/10 ... ree-agents

It’s likely a veteran backup will emerge this summer though.

going into the season this is by far the biggest concern for me. cross our fingers the OL can stay healthy because if they can't it doesn't matter who we have at the skill positions.

Agreed wholeheartedly, hopefully they know something we do not.

I was waiting for someone to bring up KT Leveston. Could he and/or McClendon shore up the RT spot? If so that still only leaves Arcuri as backup LT and last time that did not go well. KT was exclusively a LT at K-State so maybe he's plan B..

For those scoring at home, Dedich and McMahon are both OG/OC types. Not sure what we'd do at LT.

very small chance of making the team IMO

Rams were planning on drafting a tackle but the draft direction went sideways when the atl trade when down. Rams went into the draft with the hopes of moving back and gaining picks in 2025 but instead ended up trading with atl and getting atl first in 2026. Unfortunately the trade cost the Rams their 2025 3rd round pick and any hopes of getting extra 2025 picks.

You mean this guy Slickjack?

Rams front office has to know this....something will be done at LT to address. Or else, yeah....season will be gone. We NEED a backup. RT we have McClendon and hopefully the UDFA from Indiana. But LT- we got a glaring hole.
