Would you take him for a 4th or 5th + Reeder going out?

Trade him for Havs or Higbee. These guys are about to call it a career.
Just sayin'

Those two players deserve to end their careers as Rams, given their long service to our team.
Why would the Good Guys wish to take on Jalen Ramsey's contract and his salary-cap hit, when they can draft an inexpensive rookie CB in just over a week's time...?? :?

Nope.
The guy wants 20+ mil per. Let him rob some other team.

Maybe trade them a third round pick and a TE. Wasn't Ramsey getting into fights with defensive players on his own team?

There is no pros on this one. All cons.
In fact the biggest con is Ramsey himself... I just read that he thinks hes still a top tier CB and wants to be paid at that level.
OMG, thanks for shopping. Can we drop this now?

Even if he was a top 5 CB. His still wants more than he is ‘earning’ now.
This has his been whole mantra for years. Sign a deal, then demand more within another year. Nope!

Don't do anything now but file this away and look at it again before the trade deadline in the middle of the season. If he's available for the home stretch and he's been playing well then maybe we could use him for another SB run. To be clear though in no way would I sign him for 20 mil a year now and bump a spot from a young cheap CB we are about to draft.

Fun conversation, but I don't think anyone here wants him. Maybe if we could get him cheap, but he is not as good as he thinks he is at this point. More power to him for getting his money, but I prefer not having that attitude in the locker room.

Cheap as far as draft pick would be easy, but do you really want him to be your highest paid player on defense?

No, that is my point. I agree with DVA. I might take him for free, but I would have to think about it. I think he comes with a lot of baggage, and I am not sure how much he has left in the tank. Yes, he is probably better than what we have, but not by what he would ask.

Which means they'll probably do it!

the only way " cheap " happens is if Miami assumes most of his contract. Even if that were so I still wouldn't want this guy on the team and I bet McVay doesn't either. dude is a cancer IMO

Yeah, I wasn't taking salary into account...but I figured trading one of those guys would offset some of the cost.
As far as Havs and Higbee ending their careers as a Ram...it would be nice, but even Montana and Brady went elsewhere at the end, so...
