One is an overrated choker who almost got fired and the other is not. I think we all know which is which.

What does Shanahan's wife look like? That could be a variable prematurely aging a coach or not.

All due respect to Kyle, but from the wife, to the stadium, to the owner, to the GM, to the wins vs losses...
There is truly no McVay VS Shanahan. It really is just McVay, then his little brother Kyle. Come on now guys.
Kyle is a TERRIFIC coach, I have a ton of respect for him. A lot of it is he got stuck w a cap strapped team he helped create, that ended up w a ton of injuries. So, not totally Kyle's fault... but at the end of the day, Sean just brings the results.
One of these guys just keeps winning. I mean we gave Sean a ok team, and he turned it around to a playoff team. You give Kyle the same team, well... we also saw what happened there.
Love this debate, but it's really no debate. Math never lies... and last I checked, we have a chip and plenty of playoff appearances, compared to................

Mandy Shanahan solid women, most likely a good cook and keeps the mansion up. Not built for speed. There is a reason McVay is aging in reverse and has a huge smile.

While I appreciate feminine 'eye candy' as much as the next guy, it doesn't really matter to me, just so long as his wife is keeping Sean McVay happy and able to focus on football.
From 2019-21, Kyle Shanahan had beaten McVay six straight times (regular season) before the Rams defeated the 49ers in the NFC championship game, and after that Shanahan won three more straight times.
Now McVay has a current three-game winning streak and the 49ers may be somewhat down this year due to salary-cap issues, however that imbalance likely won't last for too long in today's NFL. Hopefully McVay can continue to stay on top in this archrivalry... 8-)

Obviously when the football world views McVay vs. Shanahan, its evaluation process goes well beyond their head-to-head match-ups.
Beating the whiners is great anytime of course, but games that truly matter most are post season. Playoff elimination games are when coaching becomes the most apparent, and McVay has largely impressed at those times during his young career (both playoff and play-in games).
McVay has consistently been a very tough out at the very least, and has made it thru to the top at his best.
