bigklein wrote: January 23rd, 2022, 3:57 pm The Rams have to play a full 4 quarters. They overcame stuff today, and that is huge. Thank god there were no Stafford interceptions.
If McVay and the Rams don’t learn this from this fiasco and the last Niner game they never will.

Next week is the exam.
bigklein wrote: January 23rd, 2022, 3:57 pm I also think that McVay overused Akers, which may have led to fumbles; he should have given Michel some snaps. Michel has earned that too.
I’m totally perplexed on why McVay went with Akers exclusively, he wasn’t exactly reeling off long runs and Michel has shown he can escape tackles and push for the extra yards.

As to the fumbles, the one at the goal line was a perfect play by the LB but on the second one Akers should have had a more secure hold on the ball, same as the Kupp fumble, two turnovers that shouldn’t have happened and almost cost us the game.
kind of ironic listening to the Rams pre-game show today they talked about how little they fumbled all year and that majority of the turnovers were from INT's. just dumbfounded about the little amount of touches Michel got in this game. He should be our goal line back. Akers has been out all year. Great win but scary to think we almost gave it up.
