Los Angeles, and the Rams organization itself, has alienated 80% of their fan base by demonizing, over taxing and discriminating against their long time fans. The largest part of the fan base are leaving California by the thousands per month. See Idaho, Tex, AZ and Utah who are filling up with Californians (Rams fans).
Example: The Rams announced they are hosting a Scout training which teaches participants the ins and outs of how to become a successful scout. The invitation made it clear that the majority of the fan base is not welcome. This does not help preserve the 80% of long time Rams fans. It gives them another reason to leave.
With these practices, along with Los Angeles politics, the largest part of the fan base are leaving for other cities and states. This leaves the corporations who are buying up season tickets, who then give them away to clients and business associates or sells them to the highest bidder. These are not Rams fans buying them up, it’s the other teams’s fans and the nosebleed seats are going to the casual fan, who really couldn’t care less who is playing.
That is an interesting and informative perspective. It makes sense too. Why are the Lakers fans still attending games? I feel like LA just doesn't have those die hard fans that places like Green Bay, Philly, New England, Dallas, and even Cleveland have. For whatever the reason, they just don't show. I wish I could attend games, but not moving from Hawaii to a place with even higher taxes. I'd be even more frustrated if I was in attendance and saw large groups of visiting fans making more noise. I guess I am just frustrated at the moment.
The Rams Scout training was one example ….look it up. It boast about the great training for participants….great fan PR move until they print that it’s only available to minorities and women. There goes 80% of your fan base.

I don't get it. Why exclude anyone? Isn't it a form or racism by excluding anyone? Maybe they are preparing for the future trying to get minorities into positions so if they ascend and become a GM for another team someday, the Rams can get 2 third round comp pics, since they seem to be relying on draft picks they get from free agent players and coaches that take head coach or GM roles elsewhere.

I’m a fan of a team and city that supports the team and are winners! LA fan base are *** and are run like sh!t
We're *** even though we've never had a losing season under McVay? We were without woods and Akers for a long period of time, we were without Justin hollins for a long period of time. We didn't get the running game going until a few weeks ago. We're about to be in the playoffs for the fourth time in five years under McVay so how are we ran like ***? I don't get it. Lol.
I think the point is we aren't progressing. Yes, it is nice to be in the playoffs most years and have winning records for 5 years. When the Rams went to the SB and lost to the Pats in 2018/2019, many expected them to get back on a semi-regular basis. McVay is doing well and creating a winning culture, but he lost Gurley, and doesn't have Donald for much longer. Ramsey will not have his skillset forever. He hasn't created a championship culture. The bottom line is you have to win and progress, or it becomes disappointing as time goes on. No, I don't want the Rams to go back to being terrible, but I want them to win Super Bowls and I am sure you do too.

Can’t understand this QB, makes dime throws and then just craps the bed
It really has been happening since around game 8 or 9, even before OBJ arrived. He has a cannon, but he keeps under throwing. I felt even back then that he has some sort of injury that is causing under throws. He has such a strong arm normally, and I noticed even on crossing routes, he skips the ball or makes receives dive or bend to catch the ball instead of hitting them in-stride. I feel like we are watching Goff sometimes.....naw....not that bad.
You aren’t far off. Goff could never get us back in the game in which Stafford could. He reminds me of Goff when he makes bad decisions and forces a play. There wasn’t a need to throw that ball unless like you said, he thought he had a open receiver but just couldn’t hit it. But in all fairness to Goff and a Goff lover I am not, we never blamed injuries on his poor play or decisions. Imo, it’s year one, learning curve.

80% of the Rams’ fan base is the middle aged white guy. This is who is fleeing Los Angeles due do the prejudice and woke environment. This leaves 20% remaining and the others ticket buyers are corporations who give and sell their tickets to non Rams fans. It’s a matter of numbers. There are just not as many true Rams fans left because they are leaving in droves.

Hlhorns,
It's Hollywood. They show up when a happening is a place to be seen. The real fans like us stick with the club good or bad painful as it is at times. I have always felt the organization should have stayed in St Louis. We both know this was all about the building of SOFI. McKay was a better coach in 2017 and 2018 because of two words Todd Gurley. Imagine Stafford with Gurley. Michel or Akers is fine, but they aren't Gurley at the height of his powers. Todd Gurley was really good. He was a difference maker. Too bad he got hurt.
[/quote
You are right...Gurley was a huge difference maker. Goff looked really good until Gurley started to go downhill. I guess McVay was a brave play caller when he had Gurley too, because he sure doesn't call the game the same way. Still, it is tough to swallow hearing 49er fans yelling louder than the home crowd. Just gotta move forward and beat the Cards, then it will be the Packers if we get that far. I think our Super Bowl hopes are dashed.
No way in hell will we beat the Packers in GB in January. Hell, with how weak we look across the board right now we will probably be done and dusted before that’s even a consideration. Guts me to say it, but I’’ve followed this team since the mid-‘60s and apart from season ‘99-‘00, they never fail to disappoint.

If I had to bet, I would bet with what you are saying, but I'm still hoping and rooting, and I am sure you are too, even though there is no expectation.

I am watching the end of the Raiders/Chargers game, and trying to figure out how the Raiders DBs are all right on the Charger receivers....no receiver is running free, and most of the passes are really well covered, yet our Ram DBs left 49er receivers so wide open all day. Are our DBs that bad, or is it the scheme we are running? Maybe we run those loose zones because our personnel aren't good cover guys? I know Rapp can't cover anyone, but what about the rest of them?

Part is the scheme that Morris runs. Part is we don't have the talent to cover man.

I call it the Andy Reid syndrome. He did nothing but win games and put the Eagles into the playoffs year after year but eventually that new car smell wears off and the fans got tired of not winning the big one. McVay is the same. Most of us love just winning right now and seeing playoff games. Hell we are hosting a playoff game again. Eventually that new car smell will be gone.
McVay needs to hand over the play calling cause he's killing this teams chances.

Rapp literally ran away from the middle. Covered nothing but grass. Never seen worse safety play in my 50 years of Rams football.
Yes, I seen the same thing. By the way, the player Rapp ran to was well covered anyway. I believe he did that on purpose. He plays soft and safe. In this case, very clear he let the WR go free and pretended it was not his man. I think the coaches and other players knew that. I noticed the next defensive series, Rapp was not in the lineup. And only resulted in better coverage and energy, with only FG. Rapp is a liability.
