Bottom post of the previous page:
JJ was a franchise killing pick. He did nothing in college to show that he had the tools for the next level. Jefferson has got to be fuming, and he makes too much to demand a trade. Please Become a VIP Member to Remove Advertisment

Re: WEEK 12 - Other Games
This strikes me as sorrowful, because I'm old enough to recall (from my teenage years) the great 'Silver-&-Black' teams with guys like Daryle 'Mad Bomber' Lamonica, Jim Otto, Gene Upshaw, Willie Brown and Fred Biletnikoff, and a few years later players such as Ken 'Snake' Stabler, Cliff 'Speed Kills!' Branch, Dave 'Ghost' Casper, Art Shell and Ted 'Mad Stork' Hendricks, all coached by John Madden under the guidance of Al Davis.
(I'm also remembering back when numerous NFL players were known by colorful nicknames, not merely their initials and/or uniform numbers.)
It's tragic what has happened to this formerly controversial yet greatly respected franchise, which once practiced the 'Pride and Poise' that Davis preached, it's truly disastrous...

Re: WEEK 12 - Other Games
this is what happens when you shit the bed in the draft for like 3-5 yrs. During the Gruden/Mayock era they put the team back 10 yrs with their bad draft picksCommish wrote: ↑November 24th, 2025, 12:20 pmThis strikes me as sorrowful, because I'm old enough to recall (from my teenage years) the great 'Silver-&-Black' teams with guys like Daryle 'Mad Bomber' Lamonica, Jim Otto, Gene Upshaw, Willie Brown and Fred Biletnikoff, and a few years later players such as Ken 'Snake' Stabler, Cliff 'Speed Kills!' Yeah I don't see one either... We'll see after Bowl season who the Media pushes, that's usually how it works isn't it?ocram23 wrote: ↑November 24th, 2025, 8:24 amand the teams we thought were going to be really good are just average. not sure what the rush is for #1 there isn't a clear stud player out there IMORampager66 wrote: ↑November 24th, 2025, 5:28 am
Yeah them too.. unfortunately we know that feeling as fans all too well. Is it just me or does the NFL appear to be watered down right now.
It's like there's almost a bigger race for the 1st overall pick then for 1st place in a division or Conference.![]()

Re: WEEK 12 - Other Games
Will be interesting tonight... 49ers / Carolina/ Panthers are a tough team to gauge... Hope Rams are watching them closely as we are traveling to Carolina next Sunday.
Any thoughts on tonight guys?

Re: WEEK 12 - Other Games
Many thought the rams got lucky bc they faced the backup Jones. If Rams faced Purdy twice, Rams would be 10-1.
Jones (In Shanahan offense) > Purdy

Re: WEEK 12 - Other Games
Purdy is a gimmick like Jimmy G was. I think Purdy is better but both cannot drop back and play real QB.
Mac Jones has actual talent. The Niners should have kept Sam Darnold. Hopefully they make the same mistake with Mac Jones.

Re: WEEK 12 - Other Games
That Young interception in the end zone was so disappointing and awful. They never really recovered from that offensively. The O-line, except for former Ram Corbett, has been decimated too.

Re: WEEK 12 - Other Games
don't ever remember a year like 2025 where so many teams OL's are decimated.....the lack of quality OL is at an all time low. Urban Meyer talked about it last year about how the college game isn't developing OL....I tend to agree with him

Jennings punched in the boiler. Maybe Moerhig won’t be playing against the Rams. https://www.sfgate.com/warriors/article ... 206708.php

Moehrig suspended one game. Unless he appeals, that’ll be the Rams game. https://www.sfgate.com/49ers/article/nf ... HjNNlS7TyQ

Re: WEEK 12 - Other Games
I saw the rumble later. Didn't realize this was cause. Guy should have been booted. By the way does everyone still where a cup? Or am I dating myself. I remember when playing high school ball a couple of swinging dicks (literally) would go cupless. I was shocked. Not that I was checking out guys cups.

Could not be any more satisfied with Purdy's 5 year $265 million contract. Could not have happened to a more deserving franchise...

You could always tell if they were or not, when you walked up, and yelled 'CUP CHECK' and did quick smack...Jacksnow wrote: ↑November 25th, 2025, 4:12 pmI saw the rumble later.
