Certainly going for the first was the right call but why do we have to be so goddamn predictable?

McVay blew that play call. The decision to kick or go for it was a good one either way, but the play he called was all wrong. We’ve got Puka and perhaps a jet sweep was in order and may have even resulted in a TD rather than a 1st down. KW is not big enough for that play at that time.

LOL!!!! The best play McVay could write up was a fuckin draw to right side…. GTFO of here.

We can debate this all night, but there was no right or wrong call to make there, but the play he called to accomplish it was all wrong.

The play was fine If Williams went a bit right on that run he has a corner by himself to stop you with a head of steam he ran into a pile instead poor vision

I do think extending Williams was a mistake. If you look at the fumble closely, he never cover up the ball. This has been an issue from day one. Corum is no better, three dropped passes in two games. We do NOT have a RB who can move the pile on forth and one.
We do have a 225lb back on the practice squad who we will never see play.

my thoughts tonight:
defensive game play was embarrassing....to let that average QB sit back there and throw at will is beyond embarrassing
KW....I have stuck up for him for a long time but that fumble was inexcusable.
Stafford....he did not play well tonight
OL.....did not play well tonight
McVay.....fuck you

I think the right call was to go for it . I have an issue with him calling a predictable run to the right when the niners are EXPECTING it to the right , and stacked in that side. Niners player even said they were expecting it . Also KW had space to run to the left and never adjusted , he was probably afraid to fumble again and ran right into the blocker. KWs is a very limited back , not to mention his fumbling issues of course.
