NorCal RF wrote: January 24th, 2022, 3:08 pm I agree cornell. If the game was here Sunday it would be 90/10 niner fans. All niner fans here in Bay Area who wasn’t a season ticket holder would be online today buying tixs. Game would probably be already sold out. It would be damn hard to get a ticket……………..
nationally there is a much larger following for the niners vs the rams. not making excuses for what is going on but the numbers are huge. also think that people can not resist the profit they are making
It’s the later oc. Again there are plenty of Rams fans in SoCal to fill that place on Sunday who have the financial means to do so if they wanted to. And all they need to do is get in their car and drive 20-40 minutes to get there. No flight, hotel room, etc……….

I guarantee you if the game was at Levi it would be damn hard for a Ram fan to get a ticket. Damn hard………

I know a fair amount of niner season ticket holders and everyone of them has said no way in hell they would be selling their tixs and not going on Sunday……….

I agree with you. the lure of $$$$ is just too great. unfortunately I think it is going to be a home game for them

RAMS are the better team and should win this game if they don’t blow it .

They are basically home, it’s the same state … lol…. Nobody is packing lunch from CT !

I guess me and many others will never understand why the lure is so great down there and not in any other NFL city. Especially for this game……….

I think we both know who will be filling the stands in KC on Sunday. It will be Burrows not Mahomes that will need to go to a silent count………….

What? Did you even read what you typed before you hit submit…………

I live in the Bay Area but I’m a die hard Rams fan. Why? Because I grew up in SoCal but my adult life(job) had me moving to Northern California. So if such happens, which it does with many of us, we are now a “loser” because you are still a fan of the team where you grew up and not a fan of the team you know reside at. Oh ok lol……..

The issue is what slap said. Rams fans in SoCal selling their tix to niner fans so to make $$. What slap said is spot on. You in all likelihood are fairly well off to buy and own season tickets but you need to make a few $$ now for the most important game since this team came back home so you sell your tixs to our by far biggest rival and most obnoxious fan base! That’s the issue………..
Man I am a Rams fan living in PA near the Poconos my whole life....I must really be a loser LOL!!

I heard yesterday that the restriction to Greater Area LA Zip Codes was removed by Ticketmaster after 1hour. I guess the all mighty dollar won out.

Has anyone else heard this? Seems like a lot of hype over nothing.

Saw this online this morning from a national writer…….

“ If 49ers fans take over the stadium, that could add even more complications, because Stafford might once against be forced to use the silent count, which could lead to more sacks and more mistakes. Imagine losing the NFC title game in your home stadium because your fans are outnumbered 700-to-1. If I were worth $10 billion like Rams owner Stan Kroenke, I'd just buy every ticket to the game and I wouldn't care if it meant playing in an empty stadium as long as it kept 49ers fans out.”

noble idea NorCal but I don't think ST cares one bit. as long as the stadium is full he is happy.

I've loved my Rams from LA to St. Louis and back to LA....
Should have stayed in St. Louis.

1000% disagree with you. This team is the LA Rams not STL.....only reason they moved was because the stripper killed her husband and got paid millions to do so.

therealheadslap75 wrote: January 25th, 2022, 3:59 am Seems like all the season tickets must’ve been sold to brokers. If you’re successful enough to buy season tickets why would you sell them for this game to make 1500 bucks?

That may seem like a lot of money but if you have enough disposable income to buy season tickets to begin with, you’re probably not that Jazzed by 1500 bucks.

Obviously there’s some money in Los Angeles I would think that there would be some sort of push to buy tickets by the locals, doesn’t make sense.

The combination of real season ticket holders plus locals with $$$ should be enough to at least get us 60% of the fans WTF
How do you explain the Super Bowl a few years back when none of that "LA money" showed out and we had silent snap counts in a sea of Pats fans and a rattled and inefficient O-Line?

I just don't see this problem ever changing. The Rams were gone for 21 years. They came back, have made the playoffs 4 of the last 5 years, including their second trip to the NFC Championship game. Not to mention they have a brand new state of the art stadium and are loaded with stars on both sides of the ball. It is not going to get ANY more watchable than this. And yet we struggle to even get to 50/50 with our hated RIVAL coming to town? Just sad to see compared to other stadiums.

Not even sure I blame the fans. I blame the secondary ticket market. This is just an auction it seems now. The average SoCal Ram fan can't even afford to go. I flew my whole family down from Idaho a few years ago for the NIner game in the Coliseum and it SUCKED. Being surrounded by obnoxious Niner fans, cursing at me and me family...what a terrible experience. But - money seems to rule the day. Lame.

Season tickets are expensive. If selling last game and playoff game tickets meant i'd get to see the other 7 regular season home games for free i'd sell those high value tickets. I don't blame fans of any team for making financial decisions. All that selling tickets locally will do is enable local people to re-sell the tickets for profit rather than fans from further away. The Rams should expect 49ers fans to be in at least 50% of the seats.

I do not care if there are 75000 Niner fans in the stands. It is time for the Rams to take SF to the wood shed. Enough already.

yeah Fred Roggin's show talked about this at length today. kind of funny topic with Rodney Peete. Stubhub tried to restrict people but there is no way of policing this.

it will be at least 60% niner fans there on sunday so like everyone is saying best way to shut them up is to kick their asss in

Ocram23,
Yep, send the 49'er fans home wishing they had not made the trip. It really is that simple. Our Rams need to win this one for themselves. Forget the crowd. If they shut down SF the noise will be silenced.
