I absolutely would not keep all 3 on the 53. If you can’t trade 1 of them, I’d go with Perkins at #2 and Wolford PS. I think Perkins gives them something completely different than what Stafford does and thus opponents would be at a bigger disadvantage if Perkins relieved Stafford than if Wolford did

Trade one of them for a 7th rounder? I'd rather take chances on the practice squad.

I wasn't sure about Perkins but after the pre season I think the Rams can put him on the practice squad. Doubt he get's picked up by another team

Early on when Perkins and the 3rd team were more than holding their own against Denver's 1st team defense, I thought he could be a better option than Wolford with more upside.

Then after the game not so much. I'm pretty sure he won't be a part of an active 53 anytime soon. I doubt he ever actually takes snaps in the NFL

What soured you? Velocity and hesitant release?

In the COVID environment, most teams will keep 3 and probably have one in a Hazmat suit all week to not be a close contact in case of a positive test among the other QBs. Unless of course, you want to have a week like Denver did last season where I guess Robert Woods would line up under Center

I think he was pretty impressive considering the poor performance by his offensive line. I think his indecisiveness stems from lack of playing time. Another year on the practice squad and he may put up a fight for the #2 QB spot.

I’m torn. We have other players that would work better in a rotation, but if we cut him and try to bring him back on the practice squad he may get scooped up.

Since McVay rarely keeps 3 QB’s i’d be surprised if that changes this year. I guess we just have to keep our fingers crossed that we can bring him back. I definitely think he has something to offer.
