Being physically strong and having an impressive-looking, muscular build aren't necessarily the same thing.

Jared Goff strikes me as being strong and tough enough to perform effectively at QB in the NFL, however his build is naturally somewhat slim--however, I wouldn't call it "scrawny."

Compared to his 1980s contemporaries as pro QBs, how impressive a build did Joe Montana have...?? ;)
