Right now I wouldn’t use either 1st round pick on what I’m seeing so far on Saturday’s at the QB position……
LOT of underwhelming this year.
Lots n I’m a bit surprised X. Hopefully a few can become worthy of a high draft pick over the next few months.

Thats how I feel.
Who do you move up for, if you are the rams? Is it worth it? Im sure the combine will sort some things out but also ups the risk that you fall in love with a guy bc of what he did in shorts and throwing against air, instead of a actual defense.

Oh just all you wait till the circus comes back to town…
We will be right back where we’ve been again next summer, where Stafford wants to renegotiate a different contract and threatening to hold out… Kelly Stafford will be on her podcast complaining about the RAMS, there will be clones and Stafford ‘back’ will be a ‘mess’ once again and blah blah blah…
Same song, same dance, same story.
McVay’s and Snead already said they were treating Stafford as a year to year contract. Said they knew they will have to redo again next year. That is the way Rams want it. (Has nothing to do with Kelly.)
Oh come on, you and I both know Kelly has a lot to do w it. She's the boss my man.... it's how all you Georgia alums are... mom is the boss and you are the whipping boys.

One thing for certain, Matt NFL Career is not going away gently into that good night.
With that said, I do wonder if and when the rams win the super bowl this year, do Stafford retire? Thats one bridge I would gladly cross despite Stafford choice.

I think there are still excellent QB prospects out there. I just dont think any are putting up ridiculous one sided numbers because of NIL, all these guys are playing more balanced teams than we saw in the past.
Guys like Mendoza, Green, Moore (my choice), and Nussmeier are still the high rated prospects that should be first rd picks.
drafting a QB in the 1st round who isn't the top graded QB doesn't mean its a reach. Many analysts had Bo Nix as a 2nd round talent.
With all that said, I still wish we had a chance to see what Stetson could do playing with the varsity team. He looked good in preseason playing with several guys who no longer have a uniform.

As I’ve said in the past Cornell, oc n I have talked about this a bit, I’m only caring about what they did on Saturday’s and who against. I could care less what they do in shorts n t-shirts and I could care less what they do against a Saturday opponent that won’t have anyone playing in the years to come on Sundays……….
Mechanics though come into play, especially lower body, as well as you can’t dismiss the McVay factor……….
Right now? No one. I’m staying pat and not moving up for anyone. In fact based on what I’ve watched I’m either going in another direction with my first two picks or again trading one of the first round picks to get a second one in 2027. I then may use the first round pick I kept in 2026 for a QB or waiting to day two or three. And if I don’t trade one of the 26 picks and there isn’t a QB worthy of a 1st round pick then I’M solidifying the roster even more………….

JMO most are considered “high rated prospects” because the NFL is a QB desperate league for “multiple reasons”………..
Mendoza is having a damn good year. JMO the “bubble” at some point is going to burst. Maybe it is because I’m still pissed he left Cal but that being said not a fan. Now Cal’s current QB in a few years…………
I agree I’d like to see Stetson at some point play with the “varsity team”. I wouldn’t be surprised if that doesn’t happen once Stafford does retire………….
