I'm happy
Dotson should be back next week.
Nothing wrong with winning ugly in the playoffs. What you did one week doesn't mean you will struggle the next week.

They overcame f-ups that have killed them this year. Build on it!

Seattle overcome F-ups to beat the Rams a few weeks back. They could care less, they get a free bye week and happy.
I could care less, Rams win to see another day. That's all that matters, especially in the playoffs.
Rams shouldn't have been favored, by 10, going on the road on a short week, vs a healthier Panthers team that beat the Rams just a few weeks back. Rams had to do it without their best OL, which they had earlier when they lost to Tampa.

Nothing to gain from game. Rams 10.5 favs on road. Expected to roll. Literally a game with zero expectations for Carolina and they’re at home. A joke. Plus a short week.
Rams will be better next week.

Re: Winning ugly, is a win especially in the playoffs.
Good post
The problem is, we do this to ourselves. That’s what drive me so damn nuts. The play calling is bizarre at times. Our DB are liability. We have so much damn talent, yet we just keep getting in our own way.
We cannot continue playing like this. I always felt we would win today, but winning barely to the worst team EVER to make it into the playoffs (the Panthers, and it’s true… look it up. Worst team ever to make it in). But yes, the playoffs and things can go either way to any team.
But again, that’s not my issue… my issue is, we keep shooting ourselves in the foot. I mean that Dietrich penalty almost blew the entire game today

Carolina beat them earlier when they wasn't healthy and the Rams were healthy.
Carolina was 100 healthy today. Rams had a short week on the road without their best OL

The 10.5 favorite was bizarre to everyone in here. When that came out last week, NorCal and I thought it was a misprint. Yet it wasn’t. A better line to me would have been Rams @ 3, NOT 10.5.Cornell29 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2026, 5:20 pmRams shouldn't have been favored by 10?SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2026, 5:14 pm Nothing to gain from game. Yes we do.
Now, who do we want next week? San Fran at home sounds good to me

Exactly. At the end of the day ... they're moving on and Carolina is going home. Not saying winning fixes everything but it buys another week of buying duct tape to patch the holes

Re: Winning ugly, is a win especially in the playoffs.
winning on the road against a team that plays us like its the superbowl is good, this is revenge from 2003!!! LETS GO RAMS, REVENGE TOUR 1 DOWN 3 TO GO.!!!!
considering we gave them probably 11 points they should not have had, and left 6-10 points on the field easy. not to mention maybe out worst game penalty wise... especially that last drive killing holding penalty..
we won!!

I hear you but carolina was 8 and 9. Anybody else beats them today. I hope they can turn it around but this isn’t just one game like this. At a certain point, this is who they are.

Re: Winning ugly, is a win especially in the playoffs.
I get that but there can't REALLY be anyone who expected this to be a big win for the Rams, unless they were in a stasis pod since before the 4th qtr of the Seattle game and had no chance to catch up
The Rams D has essentially stunk since that point. The O has stumbled, we're getting some guys back, but they've been out a good while, and the coaches have order extra dunce caps for themselves.
Despite ALL evidence speaking to the incompetency of the DB's Shula refuses to start McCreary. How much worse could the guy REALLY be??? McV pisses away a FG opp from a guy who has still missed just ONE kick all season. Literally 3 VERY low hanging points he refused to take. Criminy .. TAKE the fucking points and move on with the game
This is NOT the Rams team that steamrolled a bunch of games mid season and look all world. These are now guys coming in a wing and a prayer with their wings shot full of holes and their landing gear stuck
GR .. shaken not stirred

Hell, the Packers are doing their part
We want the Packers to win and the niners to win
Then we get a home (kinda) playoff game next week

Seattle was 7-9, made the playoffs and beat the defending Drew Brees /Sean Payton saints in the wild card game
