Rams’ defense

Indy that basically turned SF in to the greatest show on turf held Seattle to 18 points in Seattle. Rams lost a game to Seattle where they had 37 points and 581 yards offense plus 3 turnover advantage. Yeah, the punt return was bad, but the defense stunk. Don’t forget about the two point conversions. A horrific loss that likely crippled their postseason.

This is an acknowledgment to NorCal’s point. This defense is taking on massive water at this point. This isn’t an elite defense despite some morons pretending otherwise.

Indy's defense is dog shit and even them, could hold seattle to 18 points , our defense allowed 30 . This secondary is simply horrible . I think they rank 19th against the pass but I would easily put them bottom 5 .

His issue is/was he would not just walk away if he didn’t agree with you after a few replies. Then it would get personal………..

I noticed he went off his rocker after he realized Goof was going to miss the playoffs again for the 3rd time in 5 seasons. Stafford has been to the playoffs 4/5 seasons with a ring and a likely MVP. His football takes weren’t even good. I’d have more respect if he had a clue. All cherry picked nonsense.

Also although replies have been deleted he was insulting to Glendora last night and board. Like why are you here if it bothers you. I appreciate smaller forum w knowledgeable base as opposed to cesspool like Reddit

I’m not sure if we did or did not. I can’t remember. But I agree we battled hard sometimes IMO to a rather big negative. But I am glad we got past it because JMO the way we handle our business now between each other is the way it should be. It’s been an enjoyable back n forth for a while now……..

I think oc may have been one of the ones in here who started the “agree to disagree”. I liked it and have followed his lead. I think a positive is state your point, yep repeat it a few times, and then move one…….

There was nothing substantive to his debates

Rams defense has been poor recently allowing 30 ppg last 4 with struggles to Carolina and Seattle. More or less all of us on board with that totally reasonable take

“No, they’re 6th in ppg and have a top 4 defense because I said so” and then being a jerk about it provides nothing to the board.

Everything he posted was Goff centric. A lot of his takes were based on promoting Goff or diminishing Stafford. For instance, being overly high on our defense and low on Detroit’s was a way of promoting his boy as having weaker supporting cast. He once tried to tell me Kyren Williams and Gibbs were the same. Just awful takes.

Guys, when you attack the mod, it never ends well...(especially when the only thing the mod did was request nicely, then demand that the topic gets back on track). Hellram made his choice, HE chose to go to a level of no return. No one made him go Nuclear last night.

Glendora (aka Upland) has a tough job, it's like managing cats... especially when you have a ton of passionate Ram loving fans in here. Shoot, when we lose games, this place gets scary as the knives tend to come out. His job aint easy and he does it because the Rams are his passion.

So, let's turn the page and get ready for the playoffs. Let's give Glendora a break here and move on. This thread was BEAT to death 3 pages ago and it went so off topic, that the Mod had to get involved. Honestly, I wish this entire thread would just disappear.

Guys, the LAST thing I ever want to do is ban someone. Especially a long time member.
I always give multiple warnings privately first then publicly if I have to.
Many times, when I see the personal attacks, it goes deeper than just guys getting . There are legal issues to consider as well. Cyber bullying is a crime in California and I don’t think anyone would get very far with trying to use that law against our forum, but I have received notifications more than once for inappropriate conduct on our forum. As ridiculous as it is, I do take it seriously.

As for HellRam, I very much regret having to take action. It’s the ugly part of owning this forum.

Too bad he got removed. although he and I got a little heated, I did try to get him to settle down but I think he felt alone and surrounded. Something I've learned in my 10+ years here is if you managed to get Gary to ban you, you had to have earned it.
I didn't see the exchange he had with HR but If he's banned, I don't need to. I can attest to the PM part of it that Gary's mentioned... he gives you every opportunity to SETTLE DOWN and chill. I'm guessing HR must have gave a dose of his Medicine to him too, in those moments..

All that aside, Rams Defense: still needs to be better is the bottom line for me!

There have only been a couple times someone told me my take was stupid and I'm an idiot, etc....but it really doesn't take too much to just let it go. So not worth getting legit angry about to a personal level. These Rams epic losses this season cause enough heartache and pain. And the last thing you wanna do is disrespect the forum and the rules here. It's pretty easy to argue without getting personal.
