LA traffic… give it till mid 2nd half. But also, Chargers don’t have a big base in LA.

Re: Thursday night Chargers Vikes
I remember when the rams moved on from Wentz, some, including myself, wondered why.
Wentz is a mess. I read that one of his biggest issues is he doesn't follow what he is taught, he likes to freelance alot with his reads.
JG isn't a world beater, but I feel more comfortable with JG.

Re: Thursday night Chargers Vikes
Its amazing what a train wreck Wentz is now. Hard to believe that, if not for the injury against the Rams, he would have certainly been MVP that year. He was unstoppable. Now he cant get out of his own way. How does a QB nose dive that far.
On a side note. Orande Gaskin looks good! Living near Sryacuse i saw plenty of him. He was a beast. Was very surprised he lasted until the 5th round. Hell do great in that offense.

Wentz led the RAMS to a victory against the 49ers in San Fran and will always have a piece of my heart.

Thats a tough clip to watch of Wentz. Its obvious how this is killing him. Like I previously stated, its mind-boggling how for one season, he was once so good, and now totally lost.

Re: Thursday night Chargers Vikes
Vikings are a bad team. No QB and Brian Flores IMO is overrated………
In a league that says player safety is the priority then one may question why Wentz was out there………
Eight teams IMO that are playoff possible in NFC. Eagles, Cowboys, Bucs, Lions, Packers, Niners, Seahawks, n Rams. 7 will get in. Hard not to like this………

Amazing isn't it... where they were just one year ago today and last season... to go 14-3 w Darnold... and after all of their off season decisions, I am not sure Kevin O'Connell will make it through the season.
Can I add a 9th and 10th teams in that mix for postseason Nor? (both long shots... but.....) SO Call me nuts, but Giants and Bears. again, most likely neither team will make it in... but If neither of them make it in this year, next year (and beyond), I see them at the tops of their divisions.
Something in me also thinks THREE teams from the NFCW makes it in. (hint on those 3, well I can assure you the Cards are not one of them

Re: Thursday night Chargers Vikes
They didnt want to sign a 3 years deal (100.5 million with 55 million guaranteed) with Darnold and I am ok with that. The money Darnold got would have made it hard to sign/keep the guys they got for 2025.
What I don't get, why didnt they sign Rodgers, who was begging to go there, for the 1 year deal for 13.65 million (10 million guaranteed), that the Steelers got him for.
One year with Roders would have gave the Vikes another year to evaluate/prepare J.J.. They could then either go with Rodgers in 2027 or go with the J.J.

Re: Thursday night Chargers Vikes
I was not impressed with JJ at Michigan. Of course, I'm not an NFL scout, and didn't stay at a Holiday Inn recently either, but he was a game manager in a run first offense. Need more than that in the NFL. Im glad the Rams didn't draft him.

Giants I like what they are going but I can’t see them getting into the playoffs this year……..DelMar wrote: ↑October 24th, 2025, 11:41 amNorCal RF wrote: ↑October 24th, 2025, 11:29 am Vikings are a bad team. No QB and Brian Flores IMO is overrated………

Bears another team slowly getting it together. I like their run game. Williams though is the million $ question. I also think they fall short n recognize you said both are long shots……..
As long as they both beat the niners……..
I think Seattle is going to continue to play well and get a playoff spot. I think we will also. The niners IMO are the “wild card” team. They certainly have played well through 7 games but I still don’t think they are as good as their record……..
On a side note if you or anyone else has not seen the interview Schrager did with McVay this week I would recommend it. It is a full hour but good IMO. I will always see things through the eyes of a coach n at least for me he reinforces why he continues to be the right guy for this team. A big overall perspective on how he views and goes about a lot of things.

KO isn't going anywhere he is one of the best coaches in the NFL.....tell me any coach that could survive without their #1 QB??? He has excelled with every QB he has brought in there. I think this demonstrates just how bad Wentz isDelMar wrote: ↑October 24th, 2025, 11:41 amNorCal RF wrote: ↑October 24th, 2025, 11:29 am Vikings are a bad team.
