Today……..
Game day thread continues to be a cesspool created by 2-3. Open mouth insert foot……..
When game still in doubt Darius Williams made a heck of a play on 3rd down in the 3rd. You make good plays as a DB when you play the ball not the man…….
Bryant Young is playing great football. What year is it? And some wanted him gone……..
Stafford is playing really well………
Again Nacua n Adams a heck of a 1-2……..
McVay 7th straight win in regular season on the road. FYI that isn’t easy in this league……..
D I thought struggled against run in first half. But again Shula makes half time adjustments and again they don’t give up a 2nd half TD……..

Nice second half. Titans aren’t a good team. One of softest teams on schedule. Have to stack those wins. Next week could be rough.

Re: Today……..
Biggest change from last season I’m noticing right away… last season it took us 5-6 games to start to get our groove going.
Now this season, it’s just taking till the half of each game to gel.
So, we’re def on the right track… BUT, we need to pick it up next week and not wait till the 3rd qtr, as the Eagles ain’t no B team. Their defense looks even tougher this season than last.

They continue to be really good most weeks in the 2nd half under Shula…….

I think some of this is by design. Takes a quarter to figure out what their D is going to focus on, how aggressive they are playing etc. The first 10 or so plays are scripted then adjustments are made.DelMar wrote: ↑September 14th, 2025, 3:19 pmBiggest change from last season I’m noticing right away… last season it took us 5-6 games to start to get our groove going.

My heart really appreciated the game not coming down to the last few minutes. I still Havnt recovered from Sat night.
I did not see Stafford’s interception. 50 seconds to go before half I thought it was safe to go upstairs and talk to my daughter.

QB for Tennessee went to same HS as Ronnie Rivers n Joe Mixon. Saw most of his HS games because my nephews were his teammates. One was actually his starting LT. Heck of a story. Zero star recruit out of HS even though he was good in Junior n Senior year. His RB his senior year was Giles Jackson who was cut by Philly this year.

I noticed ALOT of DL rotation. When our twos were in on series 3 I think the Titians seemed to run pretty easy on them. When the starters went back in the impact was clear. But it feels like a bend don’t break and keep fresh legs attitude.

Re: Today……..
Nothing has changed since last season other than it appears Stafford is more willing to spread the ball around than lock on one guy.
The Texans are a decent team that you played ugly and won at home. The Titans are a 3-14 type team. Very little to decipher from these first couple games.

JMO but I think the depth of the DL has to be used early in the season especially when it was as warm as it was today during the game. And it didn’t help that Fiske got hurt on the 2nd play of game and was out a while. Glad he came back in………

Re: Today……..
The point is that you want to argue that the Rams are one of the top teams in the league right? Well if they are, then however they matchup with the rest of the weak NFC West is irrelevant.
Are they on par with the Eagles/Lions/Commanders/Packers? I think there’s clearly levels to the NFC. I don’t see anything that the Rams have done in their first 2 games that makes me believe they are on the level of the 4 teams I mentioned. Now maybe they will show that at some point, but I haven’t seen it yet.
I don’t see SF/AZ as on that level either despite being 2-0, so it’s irrelevant to bring up them unless you want to argue the Rams are on their level.
And check the pregame thread. I said the Rams would cover the spread.
You post like the Rams have won 10 consecutive Super Bowls. They haven’t. They aren’t the Chiefs. They aren’t the Eagles. They aren’t the Tom Brady era Patriots. They aren’t even the GSOT era Rams. They are an above average franchise that isn’t above being critiqued.
And if that’s too much for you to handle, then ignore the posters speaking the truth and live on your own bubble. To each their own.
But I’m not gonna waste key strokes anymore on your fan rants.

The Commanders are getting there but still not at the proven level the Rams are. Plus we are the more talented team.
The Lions are still a mystery with 3 new oline starters and a new OC. Plus there defense always seems to struggle to just be a average unit at best. Still no pass rush outside of Hutch plus they can't get a D-cord to maximize their talent like Shula is doing with the Rams.

The Lions just put up 52 points and Goff is completing 80% of his passes so far. I don’t think the OC is a question there.

And your nonsense of not recognizing what McVay has done for this organization just shows you how low your football IQ is. Again the day he left the Rams he would have almost every team in the league trying to get him. Fortunately Kroenke doesn’t have your football IQ…….
It’s week 2 Einstein but of course you don’t understand that. You don’t also understand that it takes about 10 wins to get into the playoffs n well if you have 2 after the first 2 that is actually a good thing. But hey continue trying to convince all that it’s how you are playing after 2 week's, of course only you see the importance to that, and how you compare to other teams after 2 weeks is what matters………
Who gives a damn if they cover the spread……..
Critique all you want but the truth is, you do read other replies other than mine right, that your critique defines someone who doesn’t know what they are talking about……
Poster speaking the truth? You think that is you which is damn funny……..
I’m out. Truth is you want this team to lose which most in here know…….
