Nope!
You have got to be kidding me. Could you picture Puka blowing his ACL.
Hard no for me. The Olympics is becoming a circus side show.
Now women's flag football may be interesting but only if monetized along the lines of Hooters business model. Who am I kidding, nope!

Would I prefer they didn’t play? Yes.
Do the NBA and NHL play in such events?
Does MLB players play in off season events?
Bottom line nothing we can do so why………

Actually, nothing we can do about anything we discuss in this forum but....
I'm on the side of thinking its a farce, and its only happening because the Olympics will be in the U.S.
Similar to baseball. They made it an Olympic sport when the games were in Japan. Same mind set. The countries number 1 fan supported sport. After that, baseball was dumped.

Totally agree. The divide in this sport is equal to Team USA basketball playing a Division II college team.DVA_ram33 wrote: ↑May 25th, 2025, 6:49 amMore than anything I am totally against any sport that so outrageously favor one country.. whats the point !!!Ramsfan08ny wrote: ↑May 24th, 2025, 8:14 pm

I have no interest in watching flag football on any level. Feels too small time to be an Olympic sport. Like 3 on 3 basketball

Just like anything else. $$$$. The IOC is figuring Americans will buy the USA flag football jerseys. The event will be eliminated after the L.A. games.

What is this fascination with flag football? I mean seriously, who gives a rats ass about it, especially as an Olympic sport? The Olympics are becoming performative art rather than sports. I mean seriously, Flag foot ball, breakdancing, rhythm gymnastics, synchronized swimming?? Not what I would call sports

I think I like synchronized swimming over flag football. At least it has been around a long time...and those women are very athletic. I am pretty impressed by what they do. I don't understand curling at all.GoldenRam wrote: ↑June 1st, 2025, 5:51 pm What is this fascination with flag football? Curling at least has been around for ever. Flag football? Just a game we played in Phs-ed to put all kids on a level playing field.Bulldawg wrote: ↑June 2nd, 2025, 1:18 pmI think I like synchronized swimming over flag football.
