Re: Where do my arms brothers live?
Its very similar to the Hillstone group... which is hands down my favorite restaurants.
Gulfstream, Bandera, R&D Kitchen (in fashion island) and Houston's...
Just to get a rezi to any of these places have to be done long in advance, but it's well worth the wait.
Have you tried any of these, OC?

สวัสดี สบายดีไหม? right back to you. It is a mix farm based on permaculture principles. It was rice-paddy land and I've put in over 500 trees many of them fruit. I have as much work in my retirement as I want...

I recently saw Christina (house flip show) at Bandera Corona Delmar. She is sort of a hobgoblin. One weird thing about Laguna it has never been a Rams town. However recently I see more Rams fans in gear cruising around.DelMar wrote: ↑December 10th, 2024, 3:52 pmIts very similar to the Hillstone group... which is hands down my favorite restaurants.

Nicks is good. No matter what time a day people are there. Doesn't anybody work? South of Nicks was a fair replacement for Javier's.

That girl lives 4 houses away from my cousin in CDM. She looks a lot different in person. Are you single Jack? My wife said she is single again... Just make sure you hide your finances if you go after that...Jacksnow wrote: ↑December 10th, 2024, 7:20 pmI recently saw Christina (house flip show) at Bandera Corona Delmar. Re: Where do my arms brothers live?
Thats our sandwich spot on way to the beach when we go to little corona, every time.
Also, the best Mexican spot is Chronic Tacos just south of Garys. (even though it's a big franchise now, this one is the first one. Still totally original and a hole in the wall. GO, if you like mexican food, Jack
The one place we stopped going to all together is Javiers in Crystal Cove. NOW, that joint is THE place to seen and see people. Everyone who is anyone goes there... total meat market w hot babes looking for a new piggy bank. This is the place where the super wealthy nerds go to, and the girls eat it up. Bunch of 5's (guys) w 8 and 9's (girls). LOL. We stopped going though because they recently completed renovated it, so I am assuming to make up for the $2.5M makeover, they starred charging $75 for Ceviche appetizer, or $38 for simple empanadas, or $45 for the basic enchiladas... just stupid. But these idiots will drop that, plus $30 martinis for these gals... It's gotten out of hand.

Re: Where do my arms brothers live?
That is ridiculous. Javiers when in Laguna was always on cheaper side of things. Thanks for tip my wife always want to go to Crystal Cove location. I am like why. Laguna has a whole lot of decent Mexican. Why drive when I can walk in to town and have a couple of pops.DelMar wrote: ↑December 11th, 2024, 9:49 amThats our sandwich spot on way to the beach when we go to little corona, every time.

Great post. She left her third husband last summer. She must be absolutely insane. If you are a dude with money just run. At the very least don't father anymore children. What a train wreck. Feel sorry for kids.

Squirrels have been burying them here for years. Trying to think of something short term that wouldn't be too labor intensive. Bees might bring in some, but not sure how much. I think best they make is when they are taken out to be used for pollinating, but not sure how much they earn for that, and you need a hell of a lot of them for that.GoldenRam wrote: ↑December 9th, 2024, 2:50 pm
It is more of a hobby farm. I am not down weekly so I can't really own livestock...cows, sheep, etc. I did start honey bees a couple years ago. Not sure if I will make money off them but give me a few more years. Once I retire from my day job, I need to find a way to bring in a little money from it. (I am still 1-2 years away from retiring.)
I planted 70,000 pine trees about 8-9 years ago. They will bring in some decent money at some point. Maybe not for me, but hopefully pay for my grandkids college or something. I have grown peanuts and wheat. Wheat is probably the easiest but the issue is finding someone to combine the wheat. (Combines are very expensive.)
I do make enough to cover taxes from a guy that pays me to rake/sell my pinestraw. (You can get $250-$350/acre for pinestraw in my area.)
Still toying with different ideas and trying to figure out something to bring in a little spending $$. Trees are the easiest but payout is longer term. I want to find something to make $5-$10K every year. (I netted about $8K off my wheat 2 years ago.)
Lot of farm equipment is not cheap. One of the problems. They keep making it tougher for people to farm as well. Sounds like a cool spot, I hope you can figure something before you retire

Oh the glory days of So Cal… at least there was showtime w Pat Riley at the helm… growing up, that smog was just a way of life. I’d feel it most at the end of double days after football practice in the summers
