Re: Noteboom
He was awesome! The whole line has played really well this year. My biggest question going into the season.
The first. The original. The only UtahRam.

Re: Noteboom
Noteboom will be a UFA in March 2022. There is no reason for him to re-sign with the Rams before March unless they tag him or offer him more money than they think any other team will offer him as a FA. The Rams shouldn't tag him, or pay him, and I don't think they will. Noteboom is an average or above average starting young LT. I expect him to be a $9M+ decision for other teams, and his price could go way above that. The Rams can't afford to pay both Whitworth and Noteboom and have 1 of them sit on the bench. I believe the Rams will commit to Whitworth.

I would sign Noteboom over Whit. you have to look towards the future and if there isn't much of a drop off then it's a no brainer.whatever wrote: ↑January 24th, 2022, 10:20 am Noteboom will be a UFA in March 2022. This would be pure genius-wouldn't count against cap - circumventing the expense of a back up plan-sweet!

Re: Noteboom
Noteboom is going to get a big contract by us or another team, he is that good.
I have a feeling that he leaves because there will be plenty of suitors with deeper pockets.

Re: Noteboom
Understandable, but I don't see the team cutting Whitworth. He's almost Rams family and i'd hate to see him ending his career in Seattle on a 1 year revenge contract. I get the impression Noteboom will want, and accept, the highest offer whereas Whitworth will play for less than market value if he can stay. Then again he may want to retire for all I know. I wouldn't out-bid the market for Noteboom.

Re: Noteboom
Noteboom is a guy Rams have developed, and is in his prime,so I’d keep him and let Whitworth go. No team needs a 41 year old LT.
Rams can be happy they got as much out of Whitworth at the end of his career and let a guy in his prime guy take over .

Re: Noteboom
Whit won "Pass Blocker of the Year" by PFF this year at 40. I'd estimate there are 24 teams that would view him as an upgrade this offseason.
