Aaron Donald, when asked about the facing the Niners "wouldn't have it any other way."

IF McVay and the team all feel this and play their game no one will beat them.

It will take a barrage of points to defeat SF, to keep their O off the field and shred their secondary. I'm thinking 48 or so...

SO much of sports is psychology. Rams collectively slay this dragon, they are Champions in waiting.

They don't match up so well with the Niners but it has to be half mental at this point...

They have to run the ball some but I think it is a given that they will not control the line. They have to run just good enough to win through the air. This time, no more of this safe crap with the lead. How many blown big leads do we have to see to know it just doesn't work for them? The slightest easing up kills their momentum. They have to get greedy and keep scoring touch downs.

Uhhhhhggg. Trying to be positive about this game, but I'm already pre-mad at Kittle and Deebo and how I'm afraid I will feel next week.

It just seems like we have to load up and stop the run and put our DB's on some islands. Watching the 8 minute drives vs. our D is a slow death. I can't take it again. Make Jimmy Gapoopalo beat us.

I doubt that we'll be able to run much at all against this defense. Their dline and linebackers are just too good. I think the key for the offense will be hitting Akers out of the backfield not so much on screens (again, their dline and backers are just too good) as wheel routes so that he's moving upfield when the catch is made. The kind of routes that Marshall Faulk used to run for the GSOT. If they can work in some of those, it will put a lot of pressure on the Niners' secondary which is their Achilles' Heel.

This game was meant to be played. Gotta finally put 4 Q together. Yesterday was not a big confidence booster, but it did show hope we can dominate a game against anyone. Jst gotta clean up the TO thing. I f we can leave Rapp on sidelines, replace Reeder with well, anyone, I like what we got. I think we get physical and punch back this game. It will say a lot.

Play aggressive.
Move the football. Score points. Keep up the pressure. Do not at any time try to kill clock and shorten the game on offense.
On defense. Run blitz. Crowd the LOS. Never play soft. Force Jimmy G. to beat us deep.

We do that for 60 minutes, we win comfortably. We don't, we lose. It really is that simple I think.

We have the players and head coach to beat this lot. The first half in regular season showed that. The team lost focus and played too soft in the second half of that game. As many of you have said, protecting a lead doesn't work. We must not let up until the end of the game, you can never have enough points.

This is basically the mentally of in my humble opinion, the best sporting team in the world, the New Zealand rugby team. Yes, they get beaten like every team does, but when they are in a winning position they don't let up, they just keep pushing to the final whistle.

One big thing I took for yesterday was the resilience the team showed to do the business on that last drive when the pressure was really on. Yes, the mistakes and fumbles were a negative but that last drive to me will have boosted the teams confidence.

Let's go and get a place in a home Superbowl and win the whole thing.

Glad we are playing the 9ers. I think we will win by 17 + points.

Ramsey needs to take Deebo out. Akers needs to hang on to the ball. McVay needs to play Michel.

AD and Defense need to take over the game.

Powell and Gay on STs is a wow factor.

Everything's coming together. Another LB for the rotation. If ready, a starter too. All hands on deck time

Use a two headed monster in the running game…..Sony got us here, don’t leave him ice cold on the bench. Why McVay did that is another one of his head scratching moves. Use them both. Slow down Deebo, don’t turn the ball over, no prevent……we win.

I think strategically to lose for the 3rd time against the same opposition would be catastrophic and almost unforgivable.

If we play to our strengths and their weaknesses and the lessons of the past are learnt we should win fairly comfortably.

The 2nd half implosions of Sunday and 3 weeks ago cannot rear their ugly heads against these lot.

We need to play the same flawless aggressive football witnessed against Arizona. Cool heads are required on the field as well as from the sideline. Just one silly penalty is all it can take to destroy what has been a largely successful season to date, so lets not end it with a damp squib or leave it in the hands of the barcodes.

Get our business done and ruthlessly.

As many have said before; take the middle of the field away from Crappolo. Play inside leverage on Deebo and Kittle. Green Bay could have had 2 maybe 3 pick sixes when Crappolo threw outside the numbers. He really is not that good. Like Tannehill, he should have been bounced from the playoffs. Green Bay's special teams kept him alive. He has zero touchdown passes and two interceptions in the post season. It is time that the Rams stop making him look like Johnny U!!!!

Keep the foot on the gas pedal. Do not let up. Play like you have to score on every possession.
In my opinion we have the best team in the playoffs. If Mcvay can keep them focused for 8 more quarters we win the Superbowl.

You think Morris will put Rapp right back in at this point, 29?

I sure hope not. I really, really, REALLY hope not.
I hope not.

Rapp might only play in a few box packages. That's my guess and hope.

Trent Williams is questionable with an ankle sprain. listening to sports talk yesterday they were saying the injury is worse than they are reporting. if he can't go or better yet he will be at 50% that will be a huge advantage for the Rams.

Niners won 2 weeks ago with 2 back up OT. Williams didn’t play in that game either……………

good point but I do think the emergence of Miller is going to change this game. the DL is an absolute force now.

Agree but……..

2 weeks ago Shanahan still ran the ball down our throats AGAIN in the 2nd half with no Williams and Miller on the field……….

They are all going to find a way to play oc other than maybe Williams. Even their back up rb, can’t think of his name, who has been out for weeks is going to try to give it a go…………

Elijah Mitchell is going to be the main RB this weekend. Wilson may play but EM is a good RB. Deebo will play you can bet on that.

they can run on them, but out of the gun and in certain down and distances, the Niners flood the box on first down. Rams need to pass out of the heavy 6 set

but most of all the Rams need to attempt to get the edge
