Re: Wild Card - Other Games
Bottom post of the previous page:
Pittsburg gets a gift TD but it doesn’t matter. They had KC all set to go to the locker room at 3rd and 20 but instead give up a momentum dagger TD right before the half.
There’s a lesson for the Rams there, hope they’re paying attention.

Yes when I wrote that the 9ers is the team Dallas did not want to see you said the 9ers are "pretenders" so what exactly does that make the cowboys? You said the cowboys would win by at least 10 points, what does that make you as a prognosticator??? You were dead wrong as you are about most things!!!Commish wrote: ↑January 16th, 2022, 5:21 pm I must concede that I expected the Cowboys to be much better focused from the 'get-go,' based on all the arrogant blathering from their team's coaches and players.
They started out 'sleepwalking' and fell too far behind, then simply couldn't catch up--they did make it look fairly close but they were self-destructive with foolish, unnecessary penalties.
The local sports media had been criticizing the Cowboys for their quarter-century-plus of postseason collapses, now it's going to be much worse.
Dak Prescott = massively overrated :( :o :|

Re: Wild Card - Other Games
Steelers got stung by the worthless prevent defense...again ,,,, 4 chunk plays on that drive
80 yards for the TD in 39 seconds...
You'd think they'd learn by now but we see the same from defenses in most of the games every week, both before the half and at the end of the games...

Okay, I missed on this game, possibly because I foolishly allowed myself to be convinced by all of the 'pro-Cowboys' blustering I was exposed to here in Texas.fan since 65 wrote: ↑January 16th, 2022, 6:47 pmYes when I wrote that the 9ers is the team Dallas did not want to see you said the 9ers are "pretenders" so what exactly does that make the cowboys? Of course, I still consider the 49ers to be "pretenders," however so are the Cowboys, obviously.
The 49ers teams of the 1980s were ones that I respected in terms of their ability, despite my deep personal dislike of them, however I don't feel the same way about the current version of our team's arch-rivals.
We'll see how the 49ers perform against a future Hall-of-Fame QB... :x  :|

Re: Wild Card - Other Games
Well then what exactly is your definition of a "pretender"? In addition, do you put the current Rams in the same category? You did say that the Rams winning their division was an "embarrassment" to the NFC West. :?Commish wrote: ↑January 16th, 2022, 9:12 pmOkay, I missed on this game, possibly because I foolishly allowed myself to be convinced by all of the 'pro-Cowboys' blustering I was exposed to here in Texas.fan since 65 wrote: ↑January 16th, 2022, 6:47 pm Yes when I wrote that the 9ers is the team Dallas did not want to see you said the 9ers are "pretenders" so what exactly does that make the cowboys? not sure how anyone could call the niners pretenders. they play smash mouth football and are legit IMO.fan since 65 wrote: ↑January 16th, 2022, 9:36 pmWell then what exactly is your definition of a "pretender"? Their style of football travels too and can be played in any kind of weather.ocram23 wrote: ↑January 17th, 2022, 9:03 amnot sure how anyone could call the niners pretenders. they play smash mouth football and are legit IMO.fan since 65 wrote: ↑January 16th, 2022, 9:36 pm Well then what exactly is your definition of a "pretender"? Re: Wild Card - Other Games
40 M a year.... how many more years?
Both NFC East teams got overwhelmed early in their games.
Bucs and 9ers came out ready to go... and owned it. That's on coach's and veteran leadership.
Eagles imo lack both and the Cowboys the veteran leadership.
Chiefs and Bills look primed, Titans coming off the bye so who knows and the Bengals are on house money. No one had them here

The energy that they played with for the whole game was pretty astounding. No one on that squad takes any plays off. If it weren't for Jimmy G's dumb int with about 8 minutes to go, the Niners win that one with plenty of room to spare.

TB got banged up in that game. Wirfs may not play this week and Jensen got banged up but will play. And Wirfs backup in banged up too. Good opportunity for the Rams to exploit the right sideSoCalRam78 wrote: ↑January 17th, 2022, 4:16 pm TB and KC got glorified bye weeks. Philly and Pitt were both atrocious.
