My favorite was 85 or 86 at the BIG A. Dickerson and Lott had some epic collisions in that one including a 3rd down when Dickerson ran right over Lott.

Funny… all I remember is getting beat twice a year not only by Montana, but then followed by Young…
Now McVay’s streak…
Is going to end!!!

Mine too . . . That was great! Isaac got emotional on the sidelines.DMRamFan wrote: ↑January 7th, 2022, 12:58 pm I have a few... but this one comes to mind a lot... Im sure there are better ones, but this one was pretty darn special.
We came out hard and fast. Put up 21 before anyone knew what was going on.
Warner was ONLY 20/23 with an astounding 323 and 5 TDS. (crazy to do that in only 20 completions)
Faulk only had 7 attempts for 38 yards rushing
Bruce caught 4 TD passes

That was the 90's and yes they had their way with the Rams....but other than that it has been mostly even except for the 70's where the Rams dominated them.RGtheFirst wrote: ↑January 7th, 2022, 1:15 pm Funny… all I remember is getting beat twice a year not only by Montana, but then followed by Young…

Think the Niners lead the overall sseries by 6 or 7 games....so....it's just a blip in the road...time to see a new blip

Re: What was YOUR Favorite Rams/49ers Game...Ever?
There has been so many but it probably is the one in 99. That’s was the one that put the GSOT in national spotlight…………..
But again so many. Went to everyone from 1999 thru 2018 when they played up here. Brother would fly over from London for the game every year until he moved here. Miss Candlestick. Great memories including annual tailgate by the tower with Rams fans. We dominated that area of lot…………..
Always will remember last two, 2017 & 2018 with brother. The yellow uniforms on that Thursday night in 2017 and me freezing my bleep off the first half of the 2018 game because I thought I was fine with shorts n my #85 jersey. Brother laughed n said just buy a niner jacket and well we know what the answer to that was. Only to sweat our bleeps off in the second half with that damn sun on the visitor’s side that they call a NFL stadium now…………..

Easily for me but I only go back up 25 years

Re: What was YOUR Favorite Rams/49ers Game...Ever?
Cold, rainy and very windy November day at Candlestick 1990. Madden highlighted how much trouble the blimp was having overhead, I've never seen one move so fast. There were 4 turnovers in the span of 5 minutes a total of 5 in the 1st quarter. I went with my brother and some friends and from start to finish the Rams played a tough, old-school game and took it to the 9'ers. Everett and Cleveland Gary had great games. The Rams would lose the next 17 games in a row to the 9'ers, what horrid history. The Rams did own the 9'ers during much of the 70's, I know ancient history. S.F. leads the series 74-67-3...time to reverse the recent trend. We need a solid victory Sunday and to put an end to the 9'ers season.

The place was a bleeping dump but for that one Sunday out of the year it was awesome…………….DMRamFan wrote: ↑January 7th, 2022, 2:16 pmEven though I would be the only one in yellow and blue, tail gating was a blast at the stick.NorCal RF wrote: ↑January 7th, 2022, 1:34 pm There has been so many but it probably is the one in 99. We had a great group of friends. We all lived Los Gatos, and we would all head up in the motors and tailgate starting early in the morning. I would get so much flack and this was the 90's so it was brutal. We didnt win for almost the whole decade.
The stick was a special place, some great memories. And I REMEMBER that Ram Fan section by the tower in parking lot! HA! I would walk by and we would cheer each other on! That was the best part.
Being VP for an NFL corporate sponsor he always got us really good tixs for that game until he moved here. One reason why he moved here was he was no longer with that company…………
The tower area of lot was the best. A large group of us would be there every year that watched the rest of the season from a sports bar in the east bay.
We must of just missed each other. I know I went to a game or two before 99 there but again the yearly routine started in 99.

Mine as well. Emphatic end to niner dominance. Plus I just got DirecTV and Sunday Ticket at the start of the season. Hadn't seen a Ram - niner game in years.DMRamFan wrote: ↑January 7th, 2022, 12:58 pm I have a few... but this one comes to mind a lot... Re: What was YOUR Favorite Rams/49ers Game...Ever?
The 2nd meeting in SF in 99, the Rams completed the sweep with the kind of physical beatdown we'd like to see on Sunday...
Madden and Summerall at their finest....
Martz in the dressing room after the game
"Yeah,,, Same Old Sorry Assed 9ers" or was that the following year?

Re: What was YOUR Favorite Rams/49ers Game...Ever?
I think MNF 1989? when Kevin Green and the Rams sacked Joe Montana like 6 times. This followed by the Worst game in 1989 when the Rams were up 14 on the 49’ers at home in the 4th quarter and on the 5 yard line to go up 21 in the red zone and Doug Smith fumbled the snap. Two John Taylor slant passes later the Rams lost the division.
