Reeder v Howard

Howard and Reeder both played. They were the starting ILB. Howard played the ILB ppsition previously played by Young while Reeder played the ILB he played all year now that Jones is hurt.

Howard is more of a coverage ILB (tweener, previously a safety in college).

I’ve rewatched the first half. Howard showed up when on the field………..

Again with both good plays followed by “what was that”……………..

Jones (playing in the place of Reeder) and Howard at ILB ( playing in the place of Young) is the best effective combo imo.

It’s just that Reeder played 3x as many snaps. I thought that Howard would see more time.

Ravens is more of a running team, and Howard is a coverage ILB. With Jones hurt, not surprised that Reeder played so much, he is supposed to be the better run defender. I'm worried that he will play alot again next week against the niners for the same reason. I miss Jones already. I rather see Hollins get some snaps at ILB.
