Not saying it was his fault, rather that he has absolutely no luckidahoramfan wrote: ↑December 27th, 2021, 5:25 pm Uh, Pal. Did you watch yesterday's game? Did you see how he was tackled? C'mon..be better.

Re: Hendo out 3--5 weeks
He's a rather injury-prone player, unfortunately.
That's not any moral condemnation, however it does mean that his "greatest ability," i.e. "availability," is quite limited... :( :?

Re: Hendo out 3--5 weeks
ok who is RB number 2 now ? I am assuming akers is still not ready ..... They cant make michel carry the ball 30 times a game for the next 2 weeks and then into the playoffs , dude is a monster but he is gonna get hurt if he can;t share at least 25 % of those carries with a rb 2

Funk and Akers. Both should have fresh legs.brasilrams wrote: ↑December 27th, 2021, 10:18 pm ok who is RB number 2 now ? I am assuming akers is still not ready ..... Disagree. Henderson has been good all year. And now we are 1 SM injury away from real disaster at RB.

Unfortunately, His whole career has been nothing but tough breaks. How long do we stick with him?

Re: Hendo out 3--5 weeks
At least through next year....He's an UFA come 2023 and if he wants too much money he could be gone....if he's cheap he'll remain a Ram.
Next year he make 1 mil + with a little under 300K dead money so I'm pretty sure he'll be back as a back-up next year.

Re: Hendo out 3--5 weeks
I'm not half as worried about this knowing we have Sony, Funk & a fresh Akers still to come back.
My biggest concern, unless I'm massively mistaken as I cant recollect, is that Stafford has yet to be placed on the COVID list and if that occurs in the days approaching a playoff game, then we're in big trouble.
I don't remember Matt missing a game due to COVID this season yet?. Missed one last year for the Lions in Nov.

Re: Hendo out 3--5 weeks
Henderson had a huge hole. He had that one guy to make miss and it would have been a TD. Unfortunately, he is not good at making people miss. The big play ability that he is supposed to have is not there. What makes matters worse is that he is just not good at breaking tackles. He is a serviceable RB when healthy; which is hardly ever. The Rams are much better off with Michel, a returning Akers, and even Jake Funk.Ramsfan08ny wrote: ↑December 27th, 2021, 8:41 pmIt was a cheap horse collar tackle.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑December 27th, 2021, 8:29 pm Guy had a whopping 1 carry and got hurt. I see some with confidence in Funk. I have to be honest, I have yet to see it.
I do like the word play with his name though

agreed, as long as McVay gets out of his own way, run first to set up staff then go for deep shots...DMRamFan wrote: ↑December 28th, 2021, 8:11 am We lost Akers and many thought we were doomed.
Sony came in and has done a phenomenal job. Hendo was good, but guys… let’s not kid ourselves here… Hendo just hasn’t been a huge factor this season.
Now we have both Akers and Funk back.
We’ll be just fine.

Re: Hendo out 3--5 weeks
My issue is that we don't know how healthy and how well Akers is gonna play. It might take a while for him to play with full confidence again. And funk.....well....I need to see much more out of him to even consider him a serviceable back.

I did and right when he was tackled I knew he was hurt. Feel bad for him and no way should anyone be talking crap about himidahoramfan wrote: ↑December 27th, 2021, 5:25 pm Uh, Pal. Did you watch yesterday's game? Did you see how he was tackled? C'mon..be better.

Problem is this is maybe the 6th time we'll feel bad for him, and he's not through his 3rd season yet.

Re: Hendo out 3--5 weeks
Rewatching the game right now and it was absolutely not a horse collar tackle. Not even close. Defender basically ripped his arm out of its socket is how he was brought down and how he got hurt. It was a clean play.Ramsfan08ny wrote: ↑December 27th, 2021, 8:41 pmIt was a cheap horse collar tackle.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑December 27th, 2021, 8:29 pm Guy had a whopping 1 carry and got hurt. On another note A Jackson played really well. Numerous times drove his guy off of line of scrimmage and made key block on good run plays…….

Yeah... Sean was heaping praise on Jacksons play during the post game presser...NorCal RF wrote: ↑December 29th, 2021, 12:42 amRewatching the game right now and it was absolutely not a horse collar tackle. I too thought he did a phenomenal job for a rookie filling in...

Re: Hendo out 3--5 weeks
It wasn't a horse collar as defined by the rule, but he was dragged down from behind resulting in the same effect on his legs that a true horse collar would.NorCal RF wrote: ↑December 29th, 2021, 12:42 amRewatching the game right now and it was absolutely not a horse collar tackle. Re: Hendo out 3--5 weeks
He was dragged down by his arm, he tried to pull away and defender yanked on it harder, and that is what brought him down. Him trying to pull away created him to twist his knee. Watched the play at least a half a dozen times………Ramsfan08ny wrote: ↑December 29th, 2021, 4:49 pmIt wasn't a horse collar as defined by the rule, but he was dragged down from behind resulting in the same effect on his legs that a true horse collar would.NorCal RF wrote: ↑December 29th, 2021, 12:42 am Rewatching the game right now and it was absolutely not a horse collar tackle. There was nothing cheap about the tackle no matter how much we don’t want our player injured. It was a clean tackle………

Don't think Henderson comes off IR unless the Rams really need him. Season is probably done

If true, were gonna miss that one good run he could have had before he got hurt again.
