Re: Cards lose out?
My first thought is no way Cards lose out. But when one thinks about it, it IS possible. If they can't stop Taylor, Colts could roll. Cards vs Cowboys will be a very interesting matchup. And no Hopkins the rest of the regular season.DMRamFan wrote: ↑December 19th, 2021, 5:25 pm Cards next 3 games:
Colts
Cowboys
Seahawks
I think it’s a very good chance they may not win another game. Colts are on fire right now. Cowboys want to stay in 1st and the Hawks have played spoiler many times. Between us, and the Lions today… it’s looked like the league has figured them out.
Rams need to keep winning.

Won’t be the first time Rams are supposed to win a game and then lay an egg. Just going to take it game by game. And the Niners are a big problem because that win or loss is going to determine where we are seeded most likely. Not that it has made much difference but glad it’s a home game

I've said over the past week that the Cardinals would not win another game this regular season. I also predicted the Lions would beat them because Goff has been very successful against them and the Lions are not that bad of a team.

Re: Cards lose out?
Hey DM, all good for me bro, just dealing with life. The Rams let alone the NFL are hard to gauge this year. I take one game at a time because a few weeks ago I thought AZ was unstoppable. IMO, as well as yours it’s going through GB…. But saying that, I believe if we stay healthy from injuries and Covid, and McVay sticks to his recent game plan, allowing the defense to get rest, we can beat anyoneDMRamFan wrote: ↑December 19th, 2021, 6:12 pmHey Army, hope you are well man.armyram wrote: ↑December 19th, 2021, 6:05 pm Won’t be the first time Rams are supposed to win a game and then lay an egg. More I think about this, I think if we lose one more this reg season, it could be to the Ravens. But, if we did lose to the 49ers also, it would only affect our seed #. I think Cards fall hard and we will already have the division wrapped up by Jan 9th when we play the niners.
But who knows. I thought for sure the Cards would beat the Lions today. Shows I don’t know much.
NFL is so hard to gauge this year. I think the Cards are going through some major growing pains, like we did… but they may not recover. I think the league has figure the Cards out.
Regardless, and at the end of day… I think we have to go though GB to get to the show. No?

Had three officers from my station commit suicide in last 6 months, another one fired and arrested for domestic violence . Just crazy times DM. … Saints paid the blue print to beat the Bucs… which we all knew, pressure on the QB . DM, we should blow out the Seahawks and Vikings…the Niners worry me for obvious reasons.
I appreciate your concern DM, hope all is good with you and happy holidays

Re: Cards lose out?
Don't write them off just yet.
Their forums will be going the same way ours did during our 3 game losing streak. All doom and gloom. Put a fork in us., we're done.. etc etc..
We appear to have had a revival since our tumultuous period. Things change very quickly in the NFL.
In the last 7 weeks the Dolphins went from 1-7 and are now 7-7 and a respectable-looking playoff team on the cusp. This is a prime example of how sinking ships can quickly become a force.
This league is far from done in terms of who goings to the playoffs and seedings.

I agree. Sorry to hear that info Armyram. We don’t thank you guys enough. Everyone I know stands behind law enforcement 100%. Not sure why we are letting the minority make such stupid decisions.DMRamFan wrote: ↑December 19th, 2021, 8:39 pmThe damage this defund the police movement has done is infuriating. I appreciate this DM, more than I can express. I’m always strong and no one will ever bring me down. The defund police bs , I believe is back firing…. It’s political crap but that’s for another forum. Had to work tonight and silenced my phone and just finished watching the game that I recorded from NFL Network… a good win. But two observations… don’t anyone say crap about Morris and his defense and I worry if Kupp goes down because he’s a beast on off as much as AD is a beast on defenseDMRamFan wrote: ↑December 19th, 2021, 8:39 pmThe damage this defund the police movement has done is infuriating. Re: Cards lose out?
With three regular-season games to go last season, the Rams were 9-4 and figured to have a decent chance at 'winning out' to recapture the NFC West title.
Instead they feel apart at home, losing to the then-winless Jets, and eventually squeaked into the playoffs with a 10-6 record, as the conference's #6 seed.
Hopefully the Good Guys will handle the Vikings this Sunday, because they're not noted for their recent ability to perform against the Ravens and 49ers...
ram pathos...

Re: Cards lose out?
So if we come through the Vikings game with the W and Arizona fall to the Colts, who knows what the Bucs result will be as they seem to struggle against their div opponents, but let's say they win, for example. Doesn't that put us as the 3rd seed in the Playoffs at that point as we have the tie over Tampa by beating them earlier in the season?
