I don't see this game being close. Either we lose by 2 scores or we win by 2 scores. I'm not optimistic. The Rams odds have shortened from +125 to +115. I don't understand this line. It looks like a -180; +155 game to me.

Stafford will drop to 2-5 this year against teams with a winning record. It's his MO...
Cards 33
Rams 17

Rams 17
Judge our new coach in his third year. After all our last coach was to game strategy what Yoko Ono was to the Beatles...

Agree - it’s been a while since the Rams pulled a victory in a matchup like this.
We beat the Bucs in Sept by gaining double their rushing yards, having zero turnovers and committing only one penalty, and that was in Sofi.
It’s going to take tough, smart and disciplined football to repeat a performance like that, especially in their crib.

Shoot, after reading I'm not sure it will be safe watching this game. Safe for my TV from hurled in anger flying objects.

I agree. Rams are going to win this game. Hollins is returning and that's huge for the Defense. Hollins and Floyd can contain Murray on the edges, and I think we'll stick with a ground focused attack.DMRamFan wrote: ↑December 9th, 2021, 3:17 pm I cannot believe its only Thursday and our game is still 4 1/2 days away...
Goodness this is gonna be a long wkend.
I just have this VERY STRONG feeling that we're going to be victorious in this game.
I think we come out mach two with our hair on fire.

Hard to have confidence in Stafford at this point and the Cards have been better in all 3 phases

man, the injury/covid missing pieces list is going to expose our depth. everyone left has got to step it up. the Rams should be playing like they're already on their playoff run.

Some of you talk like the Cardinals have whipped our azz for years and it's been the other way around. They have beat us 1 time in four years. Let's get real people!! I think it's going to be one of those Rams beatdown games of the Cardinals as we are accustomed to seeing.

I'm right with you. I stand by my Rams, 35-17. Until last time, we were beating this team on a regular basis. Yeah, we have some holes and we might not be the best team in the NFL. But we are better than we have shown in the last month or so. We are overdue due for a big win in a big game.

Re: Rams @ Cards... Who you got and why?
This is a must win game for so many reasons. I think AD and the defense really show up tonight and make things difficult for Kyler Murray.
Biggest question... Will Sean McVay ever learn his lesson about not running the ball. The thing that is so damn mind numbing is that during the 3 game skid we were running the ball effectively when we ran it. Turnovers is why we've lost all 4 of our games. We have the talent on both sides of the ball so damnit McVay start playing more sound football, run the ball to set up the pass and let your D hunt.
Rams 31
Cards 23
AD gets two sacks and Von Miller gets one. Contain Murray.

Re: Rams @ Cards... Who you got and why?
Cards - 28
Rams-13
Cards have been playing at a top-tier level all season and are driving hard for the #1 seed in the NFC while the Rams have not been showing well against top-tier teams so far this year. Rams D has to stuff Arizona's running attack and crowd their receivers so as to take away those easy two-step drop completions and get the Cards into some third-and-long situations. Make Murray beat us with his arm. Who knows? Maybe he gets impatient and turns the ball over. If we can get some three-and-outs and not fall behind early, McVay can stay with a balanced attack using the running game and play action off of it.
All of that said, we haven't seen the Rams be able to execute a game plan like that against a top team in a long time.

The line started the day at -134; +114. It moved to -160; +140. Coming up to kickoff it's -180; +155. Given that we've lost Ramsey, Havenstein, & Higbee it ought to be -220; +180. It's going to be a tough task tonight.
