He's played like that his entire career. That's why he's a top 30 QB all times and not a top 1O all times (he could have been with his pure talent)
With him you can beat anybody, and lose to anybody. That's what makes him so entertaining to watch

I have been thinking the same thing '71. I have been seeing and reading a lot of positive news on him since he's been here, and I think this guy is going to be special. The dude was stuck in Atlanta... now he's with a contender. With the right coaches and players around him, I think he will have his best professional year, this season. He has a motor and is smart. Keep an eye on this fella.

Landman was an undrafted free agent who was originally born in Zimbabwe and signed with Atlanta in 2022. He saw spot duty on special teams as a rookie, but started 14 of Atlanta's 17 games in 2023 after Troy Anderson was put on injured reserve after a pectoral injury in week 3 against the Detroit Lions.

In 2023, Landman registered 110 tackles (66 solo, 44 assisted), two sacks and three forced fumbles. He was one of just three Falcons to register an interception during the 2023-2024 season, alongside Richie Grant (1) and Jessie Bates (6).

There was a time in 2023 when Landman was second in the NFC for Pro Bowl votes among linebackers. He unfortunately did not make the Pro Bowl that season. However, he did end up top 10 in voting for his position, a very impressive feat for an undrafted free agent.

Unfortunately, in 2024, Landman’s stats, like most players on the defense, took a step back. Landman played 13 of 17 games last season and recorded 81 tackles (39 solo, 42 assisted), zero sacks, zero interceptions and three forced fumbles. This past offseason Atlanta did not re-sign Landman. He instead signed a one-year $1,100,000 contract with a $75,000 signing bonus with the Los Angeles Rams. (Ummm, so who took over as coach in Atlanta in 2024? lol. This downturn I do not believe is Landmans fault imo)

Landman is a fun story, an undrafted free agent who was born in another country. He gave the Falcons all he could in 2023, and no one can doubt his motor on the field. Off the field, he is now starting a new life with his wife.

And the dude just got hitched. I personally like players that are married, because they now have a family to pay for. Therefore, guys work harder and want to make their spouses proud. I think we got Landman at the PERFECT time and at the PERFECT PRICE.

Could he become a Ram? He's not happy with his contract in Cincy and he shouldn't demand a lot of compensation. Maybe we can get him for a 3rd and a 6th. He wants is a long term contract. I think this would be a good pickup if we were able to get a deal done. Him playing across from Verse would be sick.


Not sure where you are getting "he shouldn't demand a lot of compensation". He'd fetch a 1st rounder and maybe more. Also, he's 30 and looking for one more big payday.

I'd revisit a lot of these names being thrown around but only if we are making a strong run at the Super Bowl. I'd like to do a 2025 version of Von Miller and OBJ and hopefully get the same results.

Not me. I want SF eliminated and I'm not worried about Philly. We should have beaten them this year and came close last year.

I have mixed feelings about Philly because our last game against them was a crazy game. We completely dominated them in the first half and they completely destroyed us in the second half. Crazy stuff.

I'm hardly a fan of the Buffalo Bills, however it's great to see a multimillionaire who actually *does* care about common working Americans, meaning that he practices that belief as opposed to merely claiming it.

I grew up in that area (western NY state) and the middle-class people there overall are generous and good-hearted, it's a relief to interact with them when I'm up there... 8-) :!: :idea:

He wanted to get the 1st to burn more clock, and go for the kill shot, knowing that if he kicked the fg, Carolina would have enough time to score a td

Personally I would have kicked the fg, but Mcvay wanted to stay aggressive.

Block punt, short field, Carolina couldn't eat up the clock on their last drive.

I hope so . We ESCAPED with a victory today . I also didn't like the play calling and Hav needs to be benched for Mclendon. He has been a liability our there , as much as he is like a leader , he play is horrible right now

Niners escaped with a victory vs the rams when they played the 1st time and their team and fans could care less, they were excited.

Eagles escaped with a victory when they played the rams earlier this year and their team and fans were partying.

There are close games by good teams every week. Its all about the W for me. Now if Seattle sucked and the rams squeak by, I would be more concerned, but coming into this game some had Seattle as the best team in the NFL.

Squeaking by a team, that some had as the best team in the NFL, coming into this week, isn't a bad thing. Its the NFL, good teams squeak by bad teams every week, look at the Packers win over the Giants.

Much is being made in the media about the Rams, McVay's and Stafford's records in cold weather games. I saw a great opinion on another thread. Most of the players on the Bears team have never played a meaningful game after the regular season from mid-January on. With the wind chill predicted in the single digits, the Bears have probably never played in this type of cold either. They were sitting at home in mid-January for the last decade. These Rams showed they can play in the cold and snow. They were the only team to give Philly a game in the playoffs last year, and they could have won. The weather may certainly play a factor, but I really don't see it as an advantage to the Bears.

KARTY would have NEVER made that kick . dude was in his face and he had a CLEAR lane to try to block the kick and almost did it , he was unblocked and ran free. Will the special teams coach ever get this right ?

Is this just a YES or NO question? Based on 170 yards passing in the 4th quarter, I'm going to answer YES.

And I'll follow up with this question for the OP.
Stafford drops back to pass. Puka is wide open. Do you want him throwing to Puka? Or, do you want him trying to sneak a ball in to a covered reciever, just to show that he can evenly distribute the ball? Which do you want? I know what my answer is, but I dont want to sway you.
