We had 166 more yards, we had the ball for 14 minutes longer, we won the TO battle 3-0, and the Sack Battle 4-0.
No way we should have lost this game let alone been in OT.
The same shit every time we lose... ST's and soft Defense.
Lets hear some more talk about Shula and a HC job now...


NOW , remember I thought that the first game seattle outplayed us and they deserved to win that one ? today was the complete opposite , we crushed them , played much better and still lost . St's and soft defense did it again , yup.

I DO hope Shula gets a HC gig at this point ....

If he does, does McVay have the sense to hire a defensive coordinator that will challenge him? I seriously doubt that.

I think coaches are taking the wkend to put everything in perspective. I also guarantee you Snead is involved. I’m sure lots of calls and demands for changes by the exec’s.

Again, McVay and Co never let anything out of that bag until they have to.

And by next wkend, if we don’t see some changes or players being held accountable… maybe we just don’t have better guys to stick in the spots?.

But now I’m w you on this. We did the same damn thing this last game just about. BUT we did deactivate Limmer and finally played Fergie… and both those moves proved positive.

I’m hoping we pull up the beast RB from the PS for one. We just need a bigger back for short yardage situations.. no more ping pong ball little guys bouncing off the big guys.

I was happy about Limmer getting deactivated, but the problems are bigger then just Limmer, alot more moves needs to be done, starting with Chase. Special Teams are costing the rams games. Why is he still here? Fine if you want Chase to stay, get him a proven assistant to help. He needs it, trust me.

Using Ferg was nice, but was that just bc Higbee was injured? I do not want Ferg deactivated again, just so Higbee can play. We will see, but unfortunately I expect to see alot more Higbee while Ferg is deactivated or sits the bench. That is disappointing. I get that Ferg isn't the best blocker but that is what Park is for.

Where is the rookie rb? He needs to get some carries. Maybe just maybe he won't fumble or drop easy catches. Personally I have completely soured on the run game, and any play involving the backs bc bad things keep happening when the backs are involved. Give me McMartz, Im sorry, I trust the ball in Stafford hands when he isn't throwing, tossing or handing off to KW or Corum. Again where is the rookie?

Les you got to get on that phone, this team needs DB help. Why is DWill still on the team? He cant tackle, he doesn't make big plays anymore and now he looks a half of step to slow. At least Forbs and Cobie can further develop, D Will is up in age and it is showing on the field.
Please put Reeder third on depth chart. Just knowing the Defense shouldn't be enough to get you on the field. If you like him on ST fine, keep him there.

I’ve been trying to stay positive way too long. But not anymore. I mean, I’ll keep trying to be positive, but I’ve given way too much slack to McVay and Co. way too much credit.

When you’re right… why are we not seeing more dramatic changes w all 3 parts?.

Offense… pull up the rookie RB.

Defense… Forbes is downright awful. Did you see his stats I posted when he’s being thrown to? He’s a perfect 153 PFF rating for THE OPPOSING TEAM! This means he’s the worst player on the Rams (maybe the league)! But yet, keeps playing.

And ST, my goodness. Where do we start?.

Again, I’m w you here. By next week, if I see the same lineups, along w same schemes… I’ll be tapped out and I’ll just go into ‘whatever mode’ if we win, great… if we lose, oh well.

It’s like we’re going through the 5 stages of Ram grief and the hardest part for all of us is…we could be 5-0 or 1-4. We can be a contender, but we keep CHOOSING to be suckers.

It was a cool matchup of classic uniforms. I alway preferred those old skool Seattle uniforms with the silver helmet.

Both players are potentially available neither are a definite, but are either worth it?

I believe our co biggest need with ILB is a upgrade at CB#1 both players would do that for the Rams.

Each players have their warts.

Ramsey is healthier but 31 years old and 21-25m a season plus would require some draft compensation possibly our 101 pick which I feel is too high. He has 3 years left on his new contract after 2025 but I understand we could get out of it after 2025.

Alexander is 28 2 time probowler for GB he would cost 16m if we assumed his contract and have an additional year on the contract compensation my guess would be a 6th or 5th 2026. The big question mark is health he has had several injuries since 2023. Most recent was a PCL tear. He has played in only 38 games out of 84 since 2021.

To me I rather have Alexander if he gets released and he wants to play with us. Devante is on the team plus us being close to a SB could be enticing. Age, money and compensation all are in his favor health is not.

Ramsey was rated 17th best CB by PFF. He has a strong run grade, and an above average but not elite at 38th against the pass.

My goal for this current team is to fill in the glaring holes CB, ILB, BU T and another TE by getting one of these two we don't need to spend first round capital on one.

My final analysis I would only go with Alexander if there is zero draft compensation and medical checks out. Ramsey is too pricey as well as I feel he is diminishing this is not about nostalgia it's business.

I probably pass on both as much as I know both could possibly solve a big need and make the secondary somewhat better. Tre White scared me last year and makes me probably shy away from Alexander.

Positives.. we allowed No Sacks and Had No TO's., 585 total yards, 30 1st downs, 37 points, No punts til the 4th Q and we outrushed and out passed them.
Staff is now over 4100 Yards on the season with 40TD Passes and just 5 Picks and KW is over 1100 rushing Yards..
The problem with listing the positives, AFAIC is it begs the question... How did we lose this game?.... and then you remember how!
