August 22nd, 2025, 10:06 am Re: Jerry Jones on Rams August 22nd, 2025, 10:06 am Re: Jerry Jones on Rams
Guy has an 8 part documentary on NetFlix and his franchise hasn’t played in an NFC title game let alone a Super Bowl since January of 1996.
If I were a Cowboys fan I would have enough of Michael Irvin reminiscing about the early 1990s.
this fan base is beyond living in the past. I have a good friend who is a Cowboys fan and he is beyond done with Jerry and his antics. - 1 Been thanked

January 11th, 2026, 9:27 am Re: Love Stafford...but no heart on that 4th down January 11th, 2026, 9:27 am Re: Love Stafford...but no heart on that 4th down
Stafford had a 57.1 % completion rate today.
From the get go something was off with passing game.
Really? Stafford completed his 1st 8 passes for 114 Yards and a TD and the Rams were up 14-0 after both teams had 2 Possessions!
He passed to Puka on the 2nd Rams TD but it was ruled a rushing TD because the pass went backwards. Would've been 9 in a row and a 2nd TD pass. - 1 Been thanked

January 11th, 2026, 5:09 pm Re: We now have a path to SB. January 11th, 2026, 5:09 pm Re: We now have a path to SB.
how was playing Philly ever against the odds for the Rams, we should have beat them at Philly in the divisional and won the SB last year before we allowed a terrible sack on 3rd and 2 in the red zone. we also fumbled twice on our own side of the field and gave them quick scores and gave up a 70+ yard td run. and barely lost , in position to win.
we were up 26-7 in the 3rd quarter this year settling for a bunch of field goals and holding them to near no yardage at half. we had freak anomaly back to back blocked field goals to lose by 1.
Eagles were not our threat.. Seattle and SF, Seattle specifically are the tough games.
You just laid out all of the reasons why its good to have the Eagles out. The Rams cannot beat them. Even when Philly tries to hand it to them, the Rams gift it right back for those reasons, I'm glad they're gone

November 16th, 2025, 7:06 pm Re: THIS WIN FEELS LIKE A LOSS November 16th, 2025, 7:06 pm Re: THIS WIN FEELS LIKE A LOSS
Saying a win against a team youre tied with, for the best record in the league "feels like a loss" is ridiculous. It was a heavy weight slugfest.
I'll repeat what I asked in another thread. Do you think Seattle feels that this was a "good loss"?
Perhaps the top 2 teams in the league head to head. If you win, its a good win, and you move on.
of course you're gonna take it, you don't have a choice, this isn't about needing the Rams to beat the Seahawks by 30 points, this is about analyzing whether this team is capable of winning the Super Bowl. So for me when I'm disappointed in the Rams performance and they still win it's because I question whether they'll be able to perform at a high-level against some of the other teams in the NFL.. I want home-field advantage, I don't want to travel and I want a week off.
So my question is what other teams? This was about as high level team is there is in the league right now……
Philly? That was on this team after dominating them the first 2+ quarters. Their offense isn’t good right now.
Detroit? They could have 4 losses if this score stays……..
GB? Chicago? Oh ok lol…….
And I could care less about AFC. That means SB…….
Again today was as good of a team in this league and we won……… - 1 Been thanked

Personally, I don't want to draft a OT in the 1st or 2nd round that will only play if AJ or McClendon (who should get a long-term deal this off-season) get hurt.
Rams need to use their 1st or 2nd round picks on guys who can play at least 50 -60 percent of the snaps, even if someone doesn't get injured.
I do think the Rams need to sign a good backup vet swing tackle. They are out there, Eagles found one "Fred Johnson"
Rams should draft a OL 3rd or later - 1 Been thanked

November 18th, 2025, 12:35 pm Re: Rams TE. Thoughts? November 18th, 2025, 12:35 pm Re: Rams TE. Thoughts?
Nothing this year. The 4 have been fine. One game where as a group they didn’t block well is not going to get me to forget how well they have played the last month. The key to why we have played so well the last month. We have all been touting how well they have played. Parkinson’s TD was huge on Sunday and that was mostly him. And last Sunday the entire team didn’t block well……………..
Moving forward? I’ve said previously we should be in good shape with Allen n Ferguson. Parkinson is around a $7m cap savings if not here next year. He IMO is gone unless he comes back at a big discount. Higbee is cheap next year. $2.1m. It’s on the books if he stays or is cut……..
TE IMO will be fine with Allen n Ferguson. Ferguson IMO will be the TE we all wanted in the next year or two……….. - 1 Been thanked

November 19th, 2025, 12:50 pm Re: OBJ? November 19th, 2025, 12:50 pm Re: OBJ?
You know, the more I think about this, the more I think if we could get him on the cheap and he can fill in at the 4th WR spot... why not.
My thinking is, OBJ requires attention. He maybe older, but he's a SMART WR and could take some of the heat off of Adams and Puka... I would not expect him to have big stats w us, he is what he is... Also, w Tutu out at times, and since we just do not use that much, maybe OBJ is the answer... we know Stafford would find OBJ... they had phenomenal chemistry together.
So thats my thinking.. if cheap, why not.. .great chemistry w Matt, he gets the McVay offense already and can take some attention away from Puka and Adams. This is a good signing if price is right. I saw do it, if he is HEALTHY.
🤷🏼♂️
Now let's go win a freaking SB.
Exactly what I’m thinking. Certainly he couldn’t play lots of snaps however, he is someone the defense would have to pay attention to and could be an interesting situational chess piece.
OBJ has had a total 40 receptions the past 3 years. What makes you think hes someone defenses have to keep an eye on? I'd rather get Ferguson more involved. I think he'd create more separation than Odel. - 1 Been thanked

January 13th, 2026, 4:41 pm Re: Should the Rams practice in cold weather this week? January 13th, 2026, 4:41 pm Re: Should the Rams practice in cold weather this week?
ONE DAMN PLAY AWAY... Still lives in the corner of mind... ugh
worst part about that 3rd and 2 sack is the center and guard both left the DT unblocked and chose to each participate in a separate double team, giving up a horrid sack.. we should have ran it till we got the first down and proceeded... almost looked rigged.. terrible sequence.. should have been SB champs last year.. than again I should have a HS championship ring as a near top team in the nation and #1 in the nation JC championship but lost both games in the last seconds.. AL Bundy style.
Limmer screwed up the line protection call. Limmer passed Carter off to Dotson, which would be fine if that was the line call, the issue is Dotson was waiting to see if a Eagle would blitz based off the line call.
A total miscommunication, so disappointing. One of the biggest reasons Mcvay went after a vet, Shelton. Who knows all the Rams offense and line blocking calls. Shelton isn't the best blocker, but there isn't any miscommunication or bad line calls. - 1 Been thanked

Players come here are typically happy. That’s the culture in the locker room. Meanwhile SF has Aiyuck situation. Higbee? Not sure. That is a McVay question. Did his 13 personal suffer a bit without him? Certainly Ferguson did not do much in the past game last night………..

September 10th, 2025, 1:06 pm Re: Sean McVay Appreciation Thread September 10th, 2025, 1:06 pm Re: Sean McVay Appreciation Thread
IMO he should have kicked a field goal.... you're at home in an indoor stadium for crying out loud. A 55 yard field goal is a chip shot in the NFL when indoors.
Also not trying to get a first down on 3rd and 10 on your own 40 yard line I thought was pretty lame, but I saw a lot of that last year which was why the Rams were near last in the 3rd down efficiency.
The offense at some point needs to develop more of a killer instinct but I was impressed with the pass to Nacua to get the first down on the Rams last possession... I nearly fell out of my chair... I thought for sure he was going to call that worthless Jet Sweep play.... I'd like to see that play eliminated from the playbook.
Game on the line and instead of going the safe route with a running play the rams converted a game winning 3rd down through the air. Thats not a killer instinct?
Instead you complain about the rams not attempting a 57 yard fg, earlier in the game, that wouldn't have sealed the game bc the Texans could still tied with a td and 2 it conversion.
In summary when it came down to the rams making a game sealing play, they showed a killer instinct. Despite that, you feel the rams dont have a killer instinct bc they didn't attempt a fg that wouldn't have sealed the game.
I think this is safety blitz C29.... - 1 Been thanked

September 12th, 2025, 6:36 am Re: Are the 49ers in trouble? September 12th, 2025, 6:36 am Re: Are the 49ers in trouble?
Sounds minor but IMO this the tip of the iceberg for Trent William. That douchebag is done at some point this year.
"As the injury problems stack up to include tight end George Kittle, quarterback Brock Purdy and wide receiver Jauan Jennings, another potential issue has sprouted up. Left tackle Trent Williams was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's session because of a knee injury, as well as his typical veteran rest day. He was once again a non-participant Thursday, bringing his availability for Week 2 into question. Williams dealt with an injury in the 49ers' Week 1 win over the Seattle Seahawks. He missed one snap and seemed to be laboring throughout the game. Pro Football Focus credited him with a team-worst six pressures allowed." - 1 Been thanked
