January 14th, 2026, 8:54 am Cold in Chicago..a different viewpoint January 14th, 2026, 8:54 am Cold in Chicago..a different viewpoint
Much is being made in the media about the Rams, McVay's and Stafford's records in cold weather games. I saw a great opinion on another thread. Most of the players on the Bears team have never played a meaningful game after the regular season from mid-January on. With the wind chill predicted in the single digits, the Bears have probably never played in this type of cold either. They were sitting at home in mid-January for the last decade. These Rams showed they can play in the cold and snow. They were the only team to give Philly a game in the playoffs last year, and they could have won. The weather may certainly play a factor, but I really don't see it as an advantage to the Bears. - 2 Been thanked

KARTY would have NEVER made that kick . dude was in his face and he had a CLEAR lane to try to block the kick and almost did it , he was unblocked and ran free. Will the special teams coach ever get this right ?
Nice post BR/ Cornell29, I didn't see that it was almost blocked during game. In the past blocks and this one is the penetration (not sexual reference)always from outside?
Nope , sometimes the penetration was from the middle . The Philly game for example . - 2 Been thanked

September 14th, 2025, 1:30 pm Today…….. September 14th, 2025, 1:30 pm Today……..
Game day thread continues to be a cesspool created by 2-3. Open mouth insert foot……..
When game still in doubt Darius Williams made a heck of a play on 3rd down in the 3rd. You make good plays as a DB when you play the ball not the man…….
Bryant Young is playing great football. What year is it? And some wanted him gone……..
Stafford is playing really well………
Again Nacua n Adams a heck of a 1-2……..
McVay 7th straight win in regular season on the road. FYI that isn’t easy in this league……..
D I thought struggled against run in first half. But again Shula makes half time adjustments and again they don’t give up a 2nd half TD…….. - 2 Been thanked

September 23rd, 2025, 2:44 pm Re: Don’t want to hear how great Karty is September 23rd, 2025, 2:44 pm Re: Don’t want to hear how great Karty is
The fact is that if he had made either kick we would have won the game. Both kicks were blocked. That's not on the kicker. That's on the offensive line.
Better yet, its on the Rams Offense imo..becuase the fact that we didnt convert 6 points in the redzone in how many chances... which resulted in Karty attempting a million kicks as well... - 2 Been thanked

December 9th, 2025, 10:24 am Re: Rookie TE Ferguson : what is going on ? December 9th, 2025, 10:24 am Re: Rookie TE Ferguson : what is going on ?
Team TE TD’s:
Niners:11
Rams:10
Bills:9
Cards:8
Ravens:8
Everyone else: 7 or less.
Sorry not seeing the problem here at the position. Yep I know Ferguson thread but does it matter how the position produces? Do we really care as a rookie second round draft pick he isn’t living up to some expectations while the position as a whole has had a hell of a season so far? As good as any TE group in the league so far. And let’s not forget the group’s ability to block and route running. All a part of the entire picture. All a part of the reason why this team is 10-3.
Ferguson had 45 snaps last Sunday. He is on the field. Again if the ball isn’t thrown to him……………. If the position wasn’t producing then………
#18 will be just fine. It the Rams way with most rookies. Probably isn’t changing. Again if the position is producing………… 45 snaps. This rookie is playing…………… - 2 Been thanked

Because it has worked in the past. Ferg scored a td on a 3rd and short. Puka has had big plays on 3rd and short.
It was the kill shot. Keeping your foot on the gas
With that said it wasnt the first read. The first read was short and covered, so rather throw it there, Stafford found a open Adams. - 2 Been thanked

October 3rd, 2025, 2:04 am Re: Sean McVay October 3rd, 2025, 2:04 am Re: Sean McVay
Since the Super Bowl, his record is 29-28.
At what point does he deserve some real criticism on several issues?
I have my concerns.
Didn’t address the piss poor linebackers for two full seasons.
Still doesn’t seem to value stud cornerbacks.
We haven’t seen Jarquez Hunter at all.
Doesn’t play rookies much. For example, Ferguson made a great catch tonight - then disappeared for the rest of the game.
His play calling is awful at times.
What’s really up with Steve Avila?
He has had great assistants who have gone on to become head coaches, maybe those people are the ones who made a real difference.
I know this is a hot topic and I am not calling for changes… yet.
I frankly am bit tired of his endless excuses. Tonight’s game perfectly reflected my concerns.
Your thoughts?
I was ready to call for his head when we started 0-5 last season — and yeah, he turned it around, we ended up having a great run and almost beat Philly in their house if not for Limmer’s brain-dead mistake at the end and, of course, KW’s fumble.
But here we are again. Despite being 3-2 with plenty of games left, the same issues keep killing us. One of McVay’s biggest flaws is he takes forever to make changes. How many more kicks need to be blocked before he finally replaces the kicker, the STs coach, or BOTH? KW keeps fumbling in clutch moments and yet they extended him and made him RB1. Unbelievable.
The lack of investment in the O-line and CBs is exposed every single week. This O-line gets zero push on 3rd-and-1 or 4th-and-1. Can’t convert with a QB sneak, can’t convert with the RB. It’s pathetic.
McVay needs to overhaul the entire STs operation ASAP. To me, we’ve lost both games this season because of special teams and the kicking operation. If Karty nails that XP and that FG, we win this game even with KW’s choke-job fumble. (And of course, if he doesn’t fumble, we still win — but you get the point.)
And honestly, I’m starting to wonder if hiring Shula was ever the right move. His defense looks completely unprepared half the time. Today he got absolutely schooled by Rat’s Face, and it wasn’t even close. Despite being hurt Jones still passed for over 330 yards.
I still believe in Mcvay but it is no denying that his first 4 years here were much better than the last 4 years ( overall I mean , of course we won it all in 2021 ) but I mean OVERALL .
Back in the days the rams used to CRUSH inferior teams just like DETROIT does nowadays. But now, the rams ALWAYS plays to the competition level , we barely win games ( sometimes even lose like today ) that we were supposed to win by 15 points .
Also ,This offense and defense have no vocal leader. Nobody who gets in a teammate’s face and yells — whether it’s chewing them out or firing them up. I’m talking about those mini huddles players have on the field when things are going wrong, you know? Like the one AD did before the play that sealed the Conference Championship game? That’s exactly what I mean.
Who’s the leader on offense? Stafford? He’s great and very respected, but he’s way too calm. I don’t see him on the sidelines holding players accountable the way Tom Brady used to. And on defense, who is it? Who’s the leader? There isn’t one.
This is spot on. The 9ers didn't throw a deep pass all night. The 1st two drives we played such soft zones like we were playing the greatest show on turf rams.
But mcvsy as ive said has too many of these on the resume now. Literally he is destroying a once promising season.
The proof will be in the pudding now. We have 10 days to prepare for a road game against a very desperate Ravens team.
I dont feel good right now. Im sick about what just happened. - 2 Been thanked

October 3rd, 2025, 10:39 am Re: WTF is up with the DL zero pressure on Jones same as last week! October 3rd, 2025, 10:39 am Re: WTF is up with the DL zero pressure on Jones same as last week!
it's very simple, we do not know how to layer our defense against the 49ers. You really need to run a
4-4-3, one deep safety.
They generally don't get behind you on deep passes. They burn you by breaking tackles on crossing routes. Their OL is decent, but was never good enough when they played against us to give them time for deep passes and it doesn't matter to Shanahan because he doesn't pass deep, he never had the quarterbacks to make all the throws
They run screens, they run crossing patterns, most of the throws are to the first read, you need to layer a layer of linebackers or linebackers and safeties and clog the passing lanes, the qb is throwing to a spot, so we have to play man, if you take away the first read, they will explode and we don't take away the first read
Jones is totally immobile. We should've blitz the shit out of them. - 2 Been thanked

December 21st, 2025, 5:23 pm Re: Have Faith December 21st, 2025, 5:23 pm Re: Have Faith
Despite Thursday’s disheartening loss, the Rams remain the favorites to win Super Bowl.
I’m not worried even if we’re the 7th seed. As this Rams have demonstrated exceptional performance when others count us out. While we were hesitant to face a wild card or travel during the playoffs, I believe this may prove advantageous. The Rams ignite when others doubt their abilities.
Although the loss to Seattle was embarrassing, imo, coach Sean will undoubtedly use it as motivation… so plan on Sean to pour gasoline on this fire.
The Rams should maintain a balanced approach, avoiding arrogance while remaining confidence. By executing their roles effectively. We got this
The secondary unit requires significant improvement. The defensive backs are my primary concern. Shula aspires to become the head coach, and his reputation has suffered. His stock is down right now…He has a responsibility to prove himself. He must infuse passion and a winning mentality into our defense. We have had exceptional performances in many games this season, so we possess the necessary qualities. Question is…Can Shula rekindle our Defenses fire?
Bottomline..DO NOT underestimate this Rams team. We must demonstrate our capabilities to ourselves that we are the team to beat. Eliminate any missteps and adopt a serious and determined mindset.
Please save this post. If I am incorrect, I hope you will critique my analysis. However, I do not believe you will have the opportunity to do so.
Our season starts a week from tomorrow ngt.
Things are just getting started. Rams are pissed and I love that we have a week and half to salivate and chew on that loss…
why? Because HELL is coming, AND we’re not going down. You just watch.

October 13th, 2025, 10:15 am Re: Coleman Shelton is TERRIBLE. October 13th, 2025, 10:15 am Re: Coleman Shelton is TERRIBLE.
Whatever dude...
Your sky is falling thread is just kinda lame in my view.... I'm just pointing out holes in your post is all, not your character..... And yes maybe the "go play soccer" comment was a bit over-board  ... So if it makes you feel better I'm sorry.
It would be like me starting a hate thread about Stafford's three bad throws and a bonehead fumble after a good win.... And expect everyone to agree with me.
Yeah " whatever " .
This thread isn’t about “the sky is falling,” but rather to point out that we have a real deficiency at the center position, which should’ve been addressed in the offseason but never was. And I am not calling out shelton for one GAME , his OVERALL pass blocking grade is 44 ! FORTY FOUR .
(38th/49 - Cs ) . So he has been BAD the entire SEASON.
Signing a below-average center to be your starter is a terrible decision, especially when you have a pocket passer at QB, since interior pressure is the worst thing for that type of quarterback. It’s a major mistake by this front office. We have a glaring weak link in this O-line, and I’m sure that if I know that, other DCs know it too.
He does have a good run blocking grade ( 74 ) , so he opens holes for KW but he can't protect Stafford at all . - 2 Been thanked

Antigoof isn’t Hellram. He was already around back when Hellram was here.
Honestly, I’m relieved that chapter is over — otherwise we’d probably still be reading posts in every single thread explaining how nothing that goes wrong in Detroit is ever Goff’s fault, and how nothing that goes right with the Rams has anything to do with Stafford.
Stafford won a Super Bowl the moment he arrived and is now playing at an MVP level, yet somehow the same old Goff narratives kept popping up over and over. At some point, reality has a way of catching up with the narrative. - 2 Been thanked

June 18th, 2025, 3:01 pm Buss Family sells the Lakers ... June 18th, 2025, 3:01 pm Buss Family sells the Lakers ...
AND ITS ABOUT TIME.
The Buss family didnt have the funds you need to have these day to put a stellar team on the floor. Jeanie sold her soul to Lebron, and its killed us.
and who is the buyer? Mark Walter, he already owned 12.7% of the Lakers, but now he just paid $10B more to be the majority owner. The dude is worth a TON... almost Kronk level ton..., so he has the means to make the Lakers 'show time' once again and I am extremely stoked about this news. He owns the Dodgers, so just look at what he has done w them (best team in Baseball). Lakers will be next. He also owns Cadillac F-1 Team being introduced next year to F-1.
The dude is a winner, and w the drama buss family out of the way.... Show Time is back in Los Angeles.
Lakers, Rams and Dodgers... WOW.
Just think about this for a minute... $10B. The highest price EVER paid for ANY professional team... and it's not even close. To put this in perspective, the Celtics just sold for $6.1B (it was the highest price ever paid until today when a real franchise sold... Celtics suck)..
To the late GREAT Dr Buss, thank you for those years and what you did to the Lakers when you were alive!
