Bottom line. 32 teams passed on Chris Paul in the draft until the Rams took him in the 5th round. After he was cut all 32 teams passed on him in the waiver wire. The Seahawks signed him to their practice squad after claiming a 49 ers LB off waivers. The Rams didn’t offer him a practice squad spot. Maybe it’s not Troy Reeder after all. Maybe Rams fans sentiments towards Paul didn’t match what the Rams organization felt about him as they did sign a LB Neal to the practice squad over him. Maybe he was lower on the depth chart that was speculated.

Their aggressiveness forced Chargers and Herbert to panic and throw away open wrs, cause fumbles, penalties for false starts or sacks.

Why cant the Rams do this. Shula was McVays roommate in college, 9 years on our staff before becoming a DC wonder why McVay is same age technically the same experiences yet he just got the DC job. To me he doesnt have the skills or guts to call a more aggressive game that is why we get up on teams and let teams back into the game.

He had a few head scratchers yesterday but they all do. Like the play calls after the first INT. But his are so far less than most of the HC in the league. Maybe all.

There is a video I saw of his 3 play calls leading up to the 3rd n 8 pass to Nacua. Just brilliant……….

He knows his players year n and year out better than anyone in the league. And players will go through a wall for him. A lot to say about that……………

Need ST coach and a new DC. Too many collapses on the season, especially Philly and last night. Two games we were in total control of and LOST. We need to find an aggressive DC that knows how to keep the foot on the pedal, instead of letting teams back into games they've been kicked to the curb in

after years of playoff futility, it felt like we were just lucky to be there. It was a weird year, a lot of injuries in the beginning of the year and we were like five and four. Then we pounded Seattle in one of the greatest defensive performances ever. Squeaked into playoffs after finishing very strong behind Vince Ferragamo.

But once it looked like we could beat the Steelers then it became disappointing when we didn't

The offense was so ineffective that starting quarterback Spencer Rattler was benched in the third quarter in favor of rookie Tyler Shough.

Ive been around long enough to know 2 things.
1- dont bet on Rams as a favorite.
2- they play up, or down to their opponent.

Yes. I have concerns for every game they play. True, they won by 4 scores against Jax, but Jax self destructed many times on the Rams side of the field.

They "should" blow out the Saints. Kind of like how the Bills should have blown out the Falcons.

IMO he should have kicked a field goal.... you're at home in an indoor stadium for crying out loud. A 55 yard field goal is a chip shot in the NFL when indoors.

Also not trying to get a first down on 3rd and 10 on your own 40 yard line I thought was pretty lame, but I saw a lot of that last year which was why the Rams were near last in the 3rd down efficiency.

The offense at some point needs to develop more of a killer instinct but I was impressed with the pass to Nacua to get the first down on the Rams last possession... I nearly fell out of my chair... I thought for sure he was going to call that worthless Jet Sweep play.... I'd like to see that play eliminated from the playbook.

Game on the line and instead of going the safe route with a running play the rams converted a game winning 3rd down through the air. Thats not a killer instinct?

Instead you complain about the rams not attempting a 57 yard fg, earlier in the game, that wouldn't have sealed the game bc the Texans could still tied with a td and 2 it conversion.

In summary when it came down to the rams making a game sealing play, they showed a killer instinct. Despite that, you feel the rams dont have a killer instinct bc they didn't attempt a fg that wouldn't have sealed the game.

Grew up in lower income family in Utah. Then not even 22 years at, gets drafted to LOS ANGELES (about the farthest thing from Utah you can imagine). Joins one of the best teams in the league w a future HOF QB AND Coach ... and has millions of dollars to show for it.

They are overworking McCaffrey so that is the next domino to fall. "His 24 touches put him at a whopping 154 for the year, on pace for 436 this season." IMO he goes down at some point. Also, there is drama with Jauan Jennings.

SF has ATL, Texans, Giants and Rams the next 4 games. They have a late season bye which doesn't help them.

In all honesty I would of liked to seen the Rams draft Sanders. We gave up a 4th next year and a 6th to move up to get Hamilton at 148. Sanders went 144. A trade for Sanders I would of liked compared to the Hamilton trade...

Hopefully Cleveland will put on the practice squad. He'd last about 1 minute but if he was there I'd drop Bennett and pick Sanders in a NY minute...

Sorry, but to me he’s the main culprit for the Eagles and today’s loss. All these blocked kicks cannot be on the players — you really expect me to believe they “just can’t block”? Come on. That XP Karty “missed” today? BLOCKED. Again. If he makes that XP , game finishes 24-23 we win , no OT . A STs coach who lets that happen over and over has no business being here. Period. But Mcvay WILL NOT fire him . That is one of mcvays flaws as a HC , he is too reluctant to make changes when they need to be made . We just lost to the 9ers backups. Absolute embarrassment. No excuse.

And my patience with Shula? Almost Gone. His ultra-conservative, cowardly play calling is dragging this team down. The Rams need a whole new CB room, yeah, but that doesn’t change the fact that Shula’s play calling has been pretty suspect .

Puka is still young, plays with great passion and leaves it ALL on the field. He puts himself and his body on the line each and every week for this team and his teammates, that is all that matters to me...This team would not be where it is today without him! End of story for me...

It was the defense that led the charge into the playoffs.
I think it took some time for the defense and Shula to figure out a cohesive plan.


Not only that but the unit was/is extremely young with serious deficiency at ILB, the disaster of White at CB the first quarter season and compounded by Not bringing back Witherspoon sooner with just one other slightly above average corner in Williams on the roster. The defense was WAY better by the last quarter season. And I think Forbes seriously will be that nickel ball hawk guy as an improvement. Shula didca fine job overall and I do not miss Raheem and his conservative calls.

Cowboys would want at least one first round pick. Rams need their’s to replace a 37 year old QB soon.

Parsons wants to be close if not the top paid NFL defensive player. That means probably losing multiple young players currently on roster at some point. Not wise IMO. They are building through the draft. Stay the course.

doing yeoman like work for the D 11 tackles each, throw in 7 more for Curl, that's more than half the tackles for the team. Held the run game in check again, now 9 games in and not one breakaway run, still nothing over 19 yards. longest on the day was 13. The inside of the D looks pretty damn solid
