I aggree 100%, time to bench Kyren and see what Hunter brings to the table.

Kyren is a slightly better than average RB with a big 48 million dollar contract. He consistently fumbles at crucial game points. These fumble/losses are absolutely demoralizing.
I don't want to hear about what a great back he is; RBs like him can be had each draft in the 3rd or 4th rounds.
Also, Shula better figure out how to stop 5-10 yard dink and dunk QBs as we will see plenty more of this in the future.
Lastly, we clearly have not fixed the extra point/FG protection on STs. This shit needs to be meaningfully addressed now!
Last night's game provided the entire NFL with a blueprint on how to slay the LA Rams.

9ers had about 250 YAC yards last night. I play in particular, in OT was a checkdown to CMC 6 yards behind the LOS and he goes for 22 yards, a 16 yard net gain. More YAC then Yardage. SF had 4 passes in OT and they all got YAC, probably 25 yards total.
The 9ers D, which doesn't play prevent with the game on the line, allowed the Rams ZERO YAC on the 4 pass play that got us to the 11 Yardline that lead to the 4th and 1 stuff. I don't for the life of me get how there were no Defensive HT adjustments.
They continued to play Zone passing defense, which plays right into the dink and dunk the 9ers employ....
I'm slowly becoming a non fan of Our DC! Our Defense is always soft no matter who's the Coordinator...

I know we had a lot of injuries and there are a lot of important players who are banged up. I also know there are a lot of missed calls that have hurt us. But there is no excuse. SF has been missing players all year and they very well could win the west.

McVay's failure to draft quality linebackers and upgrade our secondary and running backs are going to be our demise. We still can't stop the run. Our linebackers can't cover the middle. Our DB's are awful. And our running backs don't have the speed to break off big runs.

Who cares if we win next week. It doesn't matter now. We might as well rest everyone because it looks like we are going to be playing in Philadelphia or Chicago in January and I don't think we are ready for either team.


KW averaged 7.1 yrds a carry and 12.7 per catch....what more do you want?

The win was good for the young players and Bennett. The vibe in the club house must be high.

Bennett completed 28 of 40 passes for 324 yards and three touchdowns with one interception, posting a passer rating of 108.8. That came after he had 188 yards and two touchdowns with a 100.7 passer rating the week prior.


So he's proven that he can get some stats against scrubs. Like to see him do it against starters... 8-)

Honestly, it’s us. We have shown we are the best team in football… until we start beating ourselves. I know I have repeated this a lot in here. But I really do believe the talent is there (minus DB group, those guys just straight up suck)… but overall, when we get our mojo/moxie and are flowing running on all cylinders …

I don't think the Colts are the same 3-0 team as the Eagles. With that being said, Jonathan Taylor is no joke and Danny Dimes is playing out of his mind right now. IMO this is a must win game for us if we want to remain in the playoff race.

I'll take the Eagles loss on the road as a learning lesson. Dropping two in a row wouldn't be good for our morale.

I am sorry but blaming that fumble on Stafford is simply absurd. That is 100% on CORUM. Damn ball hit him right in his chest and he couldn't catch it just like he couldn't catch 2 or 3 other passes Stafford threw to him during the game. Dude sucks ass as a receiver.


And its really strange because Corum was known as a good receiving RB while at Michigan. The niners did get a Defensive player in the backfield on that toss..but we don't need to hear that was the reason he muffled Stafford's toss out to him. Maybe he took his eyes off the ball I don't care. But as it stands now our 2 best RBs are a huge liability! Bring the rookie out. Let's see what he's made of.

Just look at our division... seahawks and Cardinal rebranded.... btw: I like the Seahawks helmet but not their uni, overall like what cardinals did... the chargers rebrand seemed good on paper but in real life in the sun it looks amateurish.... again just my opinion and I'm sure a lot will disagree.


You don't fuck with the basics of the helmet logo. I believe Tampa Bay had their fans support when they did it some years ago. I'm not sure about Denver, but I'm not really a fan of their change (I have no idea about their fans approval).

But it's pretty much heresy in my view. Such as fairly recently when the Steelers wondered if fans would like the logo on both sides of the helmet, or stay with the traditional one side. They let their fans vote. And their fans said stick with tradition. That's how it's done. That's called caring about the fans.

Maybe I shouldn’t ask this, but was Kendrick active today?

Half of AZ’s offensive starters were gone today, although Wilson and especially McBride are very good. Playing against Detroit’s receivers will be very different.


If you remember, all SF's were out too and CMC and they had their back-up QB starting and the 9ers still successfully passed it all day long.
You have to stick with and play what/who you got at this point. Change the rotation a bit and get to the QB more is about all you can do. Which would be awesome but neither are long term solutions to blown up coverage....

Well said. These TJ Maxx versions of the Rams uniforms are mind boggling. I have been a fan since the 70s and the neutered helmet horn is such a turnoff. I know a poster said to adapt or die. One thing is dying. Rams tradition.

Ben Kotwica has coached special teams for numerous NFL teams, having served previously as special teams coordinator for the New York Jets, Washington Redskins, Atlanta Falcons, and Denver Broncos.

Sounds like this guy was far more qualified than BlackBUM to begin with.

Skattebo is the starting rb so he will be used more than Corum. Would Skattebo be used as much if the Giants had Kyren? Don't know, but I doubt it.

Skattebi had to beat out Tyrone Tracy Jr (who has a 2.8 yards a carry rushing avg this year) for Snaps, Blake have to beat out Kyren. Im far from Kyren biggest fan right now, but it is easier to beat out Tyrone then it is Kyren. I bet if Tyrone Tracy Jr was Blake only competion last year, Blake would have benlen starting.


Why not? He’s clearly better than KW. Every running back who doesn’t consistently fumble the ball at the one-yard line is better than KW — which is basically any RB. Any RB who doesn’t have 11 fumbles is better than KW — which, again, is pretty much every RB. Ball security is number 1 and KW fails miserably in that regard.


Yeah the fumbles, I cant argue with that. The Rams should not have resigned Kyren. So far it is looking to be one of those bone headed Rams extensions that they seem to make every other season or so.

It's not quite fair to compare an injured Rob Havenstein to Warren McClendon. When Hav is healthy he is solid and experienced. I'm not sure if McClendon is the future at RT yet but I'd love it if he at least became a reliable swing tackle. That being said I think this is Havs last year because he is an older FA and we will see some cap savings. There is no doubt we need a young OT and another OG/OC type on the interior in the 2026 draft.


JMO, shared by others in here, Havs is at the end n hasn’t been able to deal with young/quick pass rushers for the last 2 years……..

McVay even having Justin Dedich on the team says a lot to me 6’2, 295. None of our offensive linemen should under 320lbs
Getting blown up every play.
McVay is being exposed for the soft guy he is.


Who else will you put in? Rams have no OL depth except for McClendon, and he starts bc he is good and Hav sucks.


My point is this is how McVay shaped the roster. A bunch of small, undersized players.

They’re getting stronger. The 13 personnel has helped with that too. Time together helps so much with cohesion. Great pass protection by Kyren Williams as well.

Notes: both our own eyes and PFF says McClendon should be starting at RT.

Dedichs pass blocking grade is TERRIBLE. His run blocking near elite.

With McClendon the Rams OL are all near elite in run blocking and average in pass blocking (Shelton below average). Only Havenstein is below average in both.

If the Rams OL holds this performance... I truly don't see how anyone is beating them in the end assuming reasonable health. Im not just being a Homer. I would say that if I were some other teams fan.

Had nothing to do with weather unless the field was so slick our dline was on skates they just out physicalled our dline. Third qtr they just ran ball down our throats and kept stafford on sideline (although with how he played today that may have been the best place for him. he looked like detroit Stafford today. I think the team read too many press clippings

He stated Rams have small finesse CB and are weak and smallish @ C/OG. Also noted CB not addressed in the draft. His question : Do you stand pat @ trade deadline & address these issues or ??? To fight that hard and control the game on the road @ SB Champs house and give it up is maddening- Will the Rams HC/ FO act ? Any answers in house ? What do you think ? Apparently it was considered more important to drop $10 million on a 156 lb WR than a real C ? G ? CB with size ? This is not bitching or ragging the FO but these are HUGE roster errors and it does not include our 2nd round TE pick who cannot get in the mix ?
