OC you can speak for yourself but I think your statement was one of that list isn’t replacing their HC because relationships have been built within those organizations with success. It wasnt a reference to none of them would want McVay if they were looking for a HC…….

So just for the hell if it let’s say all of those teams had a HC vacancy. And let’s say none can hire who they currently have. Yes I’d say almost all would have McVay at the top of their list. That’s the bleeping point which makes Cornell actually right…….

Look closely he even PULLED his HAIR . These refs are so crooks . You can grab the hair to make a tackle but you can't grab before the ball arrives , that is what I think . that is clearly PI .

I get the point but Detroit also ran for 225 yards and 4 TD's against a porous Ravens D. This is the 2nd horrendous performance from them in the first 3 games. We'll see if Detroit can do similar to the Eagles and whether or not they can keep getting into the End zone and also how the Rams can do vs that Ravens D later on. right now the Eagles D is a lot better.


Which the Rams SHOULD have done against Philly. KW and Corum were pretty much rolling along, and they should have been pounding the ball when they got deep, instead, they get deep they go the passing game. Good D or not, the Rams RB's were getting the job done. They finished 4.7 and 6+ yads per carry for ffs. Your RB's are doing that POUND the fucking ball. Change just 2 of those field goals to TD's Rams put up 34 and are just running out the clock at the end, with the win all but under their belt. Lions scored TD's, Rams kicked FG's, at least the ones they got off. Better D than the Ravens or not, the Rams could very easily have beaten them, and in my mind, should have.

Other than the 2027 comment, I don’t agree with much else……..

First of all this team is about winning period, especially in 26, if Stafford is this team’s QB. All moves this off season for 26 should be about a roster again ready to win…..

Again as mentioned before whether you keep or cut Higbee he will count $2.1m against cap. There is no savings. Havs counts $4.1m after June 1st cut. More if before. There is no complete”off load” with either.

Atwell is a FA. There is no contract to “off load”…..

No way n hell I cut Adam’s if you mean this off season. What does his contract next year have anything to do with 2027? And his DC hit in 27 is another the same of $4m on roster or not on roster. There is no savings……..

In order to trade Burrows, Cincy will want to do it post June 2027. $20.7 cap hit compared to $35.7m cap hit before 6/1. Well after the 27 draft. Would a team trading for him wait until then?…………

And if Stafford get another bump in pay after the season he is currently having………….

I was happy about Limmer getting deactivated, but the problems are bigger then just Limmer, alot more moves needs to be done, starting with Chase. Special Teams are costing the rams games. Why is he still here? Fine if you want Chase to stay, get him a proven assistant to help. He needs it, trust me.

Using Ferg was nice, but was that just bc Higbee was injured? I do not want Ferg deactivated again, just so Higbee can play. We will see, but unfortunately I expect to see alot more Higbee while Ferg is deactivated or sits the bench. That is disappointing. I get that Ferg isn't the best blocker but that is what Park is for.

Where is the rookie rb? He needs to get some carries. Maybe just maybe he won't fumble or drop easy catches. Personally I have completely soured on the run game, and any play involving the backs bc bad things keep happening when the backs are involved. Give me McMartz, Im sorry, I trust the ball in Stafford hands when he isn't throwing, tossing or handing off to KW or Corum. Again where is the rookie?

Les you got to get on that phone, this team needs DB help. Why is DWill still on the team? He cant tackle, he doesn't make big plays anymore and now he looks a half of step to slow. At least Forbs and Cobie can further develop, D Will is up in age and it is showing on the field.
Please put Reeder third on depth chart. Just knowing the Defense shouldn't be enough to get you on the field. If you like him on ST fine, keep him there.

Agreed Forbes been horrible. Rams should only use him for depth until he develops. Wow I cant believe I am saying this but I miss Spoon. Rams DB situation is a mess. What's worse is, it's so bad that Shula went back to his "10 yards off the receiver, bc I am too scared they will get beat deep", defense. This poor Db situation is a disease that has infected the defense including Shula.

I agree 100%. They had a stadium in the gas light district which if you don't know is literally about five blocks of bars (throw in a book store or clothing store why don't you).. Outdoors on the bay. How do you not make that work.


I followed it very closely back in the day.
Problem #1: Spanos wanted the people of SD to pay a large portion of the stadium
Problem #2: the people of SD voted down the measure to include it in their taxes the following yr
Problem #3: Spanos and the city could not agree on a location
Problem #4: the hotel tax that was supposed to be a big supplier of the money was voted down

It was a complete clusterfuck and I really don't play Spanos for moving the team but it totally sucks. SD supported the chargers and they should still be there. Super Bowls in SD were awesome back in the day

I like the first 2 picks and have been reading good things about Bech. I hope the Rams add an ILB in there somewhere unless they have a FA plan for after the draft.

If we don't get Campbell at 26 I think even a late round ILB will add some competition which will push Speights and Landman. I like Bassa as a coverage LB.

Gilbert Manzano on si.com is a good writer. Always had Rams top 3 but not as bullish on them as others. Says verse has had a disappointing sophomore year.

My retort is that the Rams are a semi one dimensional team. It is not the STs, Refs, or defense that will drive the Rams into the playoffs. The offense is the driving force. If the offense falters it doesn't matter who are special teams coach is, or field goal kicker, or if our edge rushers are not pressuring the opposing QB, we are doomed.


No argument there except to say the Offense didn't falter. They answered both times the Hags took the lead at 7-0 and 14-13. They never let us trail for long. They never got a chance to answer in OT.

I sensed NorCal was really stressing his concerns about the Defenses play lately and going forward in his weekly post game thread. AFAIC, he's absolutely correct. They have looked horrible 3 of the last 4 games and imo got fat statistically early in the season against bad O's - Titans, Saints and teams with key people out, SF, Ravens, Texans....Even including their decent showing against the Cards in the 45-17 blow out win, they have surrendered 120 points the last 4 games... that's a concern when you consider most of the good D's usually are in and go deep into the playoffs and the 30 and 40 point games we've been enjoying become rarer. That's when you need to play defense....
Like Nor-Cal, I remain skeptical on Shula and his unit remains my biggest concern.

I think ultimately and if we're being honest our D was not near as good as we thought. And special teams was a disaster.

Been a hard last couple days wrapping my head around the reality of what should have been an easy #1 seed clinching regular season.

SF should have lost by a good 20 points tonight, but Shanahan and Saleh have been able to get so much out of their wounded team and backups. Two Myers missed field goals didn’t help. But tonight Seattle was just too strong, and S.F. finally looked beaten up. They just looked done. Also, Shanahan has been really dependent on McCaffrey opening up the offense. That didn’t happen tonight. It almost did, but then the interception happened. Shanahan has done amazing things this year, but Seattle may have done the Rams a few favors tonight because S.F. will be more wounded than ever going to the playoffs. Seattle’s physicality outplayed Shanahan’s smarts. Why can’t the Rams be that physical? Bethune and Winters were both knocked out of the game. You guys all suck….well most of you. How easily you turn on our team who is beating a team right now that they need to beat, all while trying to avoid injuries. We are missing key players who make this offense run. The longer our O has the ball the less the D will be out there. We just might put up 40 on these guys, just like I said before the game started. What do you want, a 100 point lead? Sheesh..enjoy our team, we are going to the playoffs and we need to rally around our team and they will play good football. Im just going to offer this here... When it comes to linemen.. See Aaron Donald and the lack of size plus the doubts that always comes with it. If the guy can play, he makes the team, period. And by the looks of it, he just might be better depth than they've ever had. Too early to say that he's better than the other two.. But I think he's making the team outright. No P.S.

With you on Shula but what a disgraceful group of DB he is working with - this is a roster composition issue. As a group : smallish- slow- physically weak - non aggressive - cannot cover or tackle - what else is there ? BTW Lake had a dreadful game today. I don’t think you can proceed in these playoffs with this level of play.

He mostly playing/learning NT. Don't expect alot of stats from him. Rams are using him as a man eating NT who job is to hold his ground. Made a solid play against the Chargers, holding his ground (nothing special). Rams always knew he was a project, so they will be patient, imo. I wouldn't count him out.

Over the last week I have seen numerous post and blogs toting how the Rams need to put a deal together to get winston, or perkins, or some other third string hack. We have our third string hack, and he is playing much better.

Make the bad man go away.
