I never understood the love for Higbee. He'll make a great catch like the one hander yesterday and then follow it up with a series of drops on passes that hit him in his hands, usually drive killers. I don't think age or injuries have anything to do with it, he's always done this.

Seriously? Have you ever watched him play? Bama throws screen passes to him and runs the wildcat with him at QB. I'm not saying we should or shouldn't draft him, but stiff and slow footed is the last thing he is.

I get the frustration with Shula, but Verse and Young just aren't winning. They are rarely double teamed and they still aren't winning their 1v1 match ups with the O Line. When Verse does win, it's 50/50 on whether he'll make the tackle, he just whiffs on too many plays. With extensions coming up ...

I would argue that in 2015 when we drafted Gurley, RB wasn't a glaring need either. We had Tre Mason and Zac Stacy, and a horrible team that had many other needs at the time. I don't think, once Gurley got going, that anyone regretted the pick.

I was wrong too. In another thread I said I hoped we drafted Jeremyah Love. After seeing today, if we don't go CB with at least 2 of our top 4 picks, I'll be pissed.

I'm sure Stafford's record in cold weather has nothing to do with the fact that most of his career he played on horrible Lions teams? I'm sure the cold was the only reason he lost those games!
