I would suspect that part of that IS the SOS .. and part is draft/FA signings. Another of those things that say to me "Who the fuck cares". The Super Bowl odds of any teams means nothing. The odds don't play games ...

The surest way to enter the Playoffs is a weak schedule. This happens year after year. We need to sweep the 9ers again.

I suspect this might be it for him .. he's lost that long distance ability for the most part. This is the NFL however, and even if he isn't on a team early .. bad kicking could have him on a roster later.

Agreed. Next up is an OT vet. We need one. Ramsey at CB only if we can get a deal.

Obviously, there's no 'downside' with a UDFA, should he fail to work out due to (in this case) his lack of size for an O-lineman.

Steve Availa or Kevin Dotson might be sidelined by injury at some point, in which case Willie Lampkin could prove useful as a fill-in, should his college game translate ...

Sure, it's very possible but McVay doesn't really trust rookie RB's. He would have to be RB4 (to start) and used on ST. Rivers and Schrader might have something to say about that but they will keep a RB on the PS for sure.

Swing OT is the biggest need imo bc if a starting CB goes down we can survive not sure if one of our Tackles gets injured.

#3. Age of our CBs

Between he and Paul.. I hope and lean more toward think, that they finally have both ILB spots solved. With Paul seemingly able to cover in nickel and such to spell Speights and Landman. I think Paul will prove to be the real steal here though.

Plus Dolac! We’ll see what happens in preseason, but Landman, Speights, Paul, and Dolac could prove to be more than solid.

ILB is not a position they spent a lot of resources on lately. Hopefully one of those guys can change that. Maybe Landman for the vet experience while Paul learns the nuances of playing in the NFL. If he can run routes and make catches, its possible. But he'll have to contribute on special teams if he wants to make the roster. Nick Scott was a special teams demon and eventually cracked the rotation in the secondary.
