Really putting the D up against it here. they're already been out their over 12 minutes...Offense needs to run the ball and stop being so predictable with the pass.

Lauranitis had over 100 tackles 7 times in his career (over 100 solo tackles for 3 years), I would dispute your contention that he was a below average player but you are entitled to your opinion. All in all, it was a great win and great way to start the season so there is that ...

Coach Shula should have got a game ball too. Defense was Stellar as a unit today! Best under his watch so far, imo.

Mc Vay showed he's a complete coach and not just an Offensive mind, like Mike Martz was. An OC would want the points there.

9ers have the benefit of that last place sched. The 3 games based on division finish the previous year really favor them.
